Leaks

This is my third summer with this hose and I love it. It's easy to store, in a large covered flowerpot instead of hanging on the wall.

Best Hose ever!

I bought this hose last month and I am very satisfied with this purchase.The hose is very light and very handy.It does not wrap and takes very little space when storing.I always bought hoses of very good quality but this one is my favorite for the reasons mentioned above.

Wonderful purchase

Would NOT recommend this hose ... I used it one summer about 10 times . Brought it into the house to store so it would not get damaged by the cold in the winter.. The second year second time using it the hose was leaking all through it... So disappointing after paying so much for it... Not happy at all

Do not BUY

I bought this last fall, so have only used it a couple of times and now it's sprung a leak and is unusable.  It was properly stored for the winter, so it did not freeze. Would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this product.  Would have liked to have returned it to the store, but cannot find the receipt.  Extremely disappointed.

XHose

I have had this for almost 3 years now. I have to exchange it every year because of leaks. Even when properly stored, although I have not yet had a problem exchanging it

Would not recommend

Was a great hose .... for as long as it lasted  then it burst. Can't find receipt to return. Hose is not repairable. 80 bucks down the tube.  Don't waste your $ on this

lasted 1 1/2 months

I have purchased two of these expandable hoses.  They are so light weight. That is helpful if you are a senior woman tugging it around in the back garden.  Sadly They have a very short life span. Even when every precaution has been taken to store them and never leave them under pressure. They will fail.  Sadly my last one failed one month after the warranty period had passed.  Too expensive for a disposable item.

Great while it lasted.

I bought my Xhosa last fall. Stored it in my heated garage over the winter. After a few uses this spring the seam in the hose near the coupling sprung a leak.Vendor will not provide a guarantee as I do not have my receipt and it has been used! (naturally)

Expands and contracts as advertised

I bought a 50 ft. And a 100 ft hose last year seem to work fine  except when water pressure dropped down it tried to recoil. Used them this year and stared to notice little leaks in the hose that I can not repair because of the type of hose.Paid good money for these hoses now I am concerned if it was well spent

Started to leak in second year

I strongly discourage anyone from wasting their money on this hose.  I had purchased this because of its light weight and ease of putting away. The first issue was that the 100 feet was not accurate, because once the water was running the hose would shorten. It made use with a sprinkler quite limited. 

I used this house for about four months  before the inner hose detached from the nozzle end and left me with a useless leaking tube of fabric.

When I replaced this with the second hose, I was particularly careful that I followed all of the directions. I made sure to empty all of the water before storing, I did not  leave it in the hot sun, I extended it before turning the water on, I kept it indoors for harsh temperatures. Regardless, this second hose broke the same way as the first one. Unfortunately, this happened 20 days after the one-year warranty expired and so they would not replace it. In addition, customer service representatives were not on the same page and the first call mislead me into believing I would be sent a replacement hose, and only after I located receipt, wrote an email, received a response email saying to call, then waited on hold to be rudely told that I am over the warranty and they will not replace the faulty hose.

After having the same problem twice with this kind of hose, I come to the conclusion that this $80 hose is only made to withstand one summer of use. You would be better off buying a traditional-style hose with a lifetime warranty than these disposable pieces of garbage.
