This tool is awesome!  I recently replaced a core valve on the low pressure side.  I used a manifold gauge to refill the ac system with refrigerant.  When I unplugged the lowside I noticed a piece of plastic sticking out from the valve.  I pulled it and out came some refrigerant!  I placed a cap to stop the bleeding.  I called around and shops would only replace the value by removing all the refrigerant.  I used this device and replaced the core vale without losing any refrigerant!  So simpo.
