My CYA has been high for the past 2 years and even with drain and fills, I was unable to make a dent in the levels.  I put one bag in and then a week later put in another bag in my pool.   After two weeks, the level of CYA was cut down by half!  It literally when from 109 to 46.  Definitely recommend.  Please note you need to be extremely patient but it does work!

Worth the Money

Doesn't work for high CYA levels. My CYA was very high. I used 6 bags of Bio-Active over the course of a month for a 20,000 gallon pool and it was still way too high. I ended up draining 2/3 of the water and refilled.

Not very Effective, if at all.
