It was too noisy at night even on the lowest setting. It did do a good job of purifying the air. I just found it too hard to sleep with it in the room. Other than that the price was great and delivery was quick. Walmart is a great place to shop on line!

Ok Product

I am very satisfied with it.It works wonderfully and it eliminates all smells and dust, smoke, dog hair (my Nico sleeps in my room), etc..It is in a very large room and I breathe better.

We moved into a house with a VERY musty basement in August. The insulation and drywall was recently replaced - the house is just super old. We immediately bought a dehumidifier which worked great on the humidity but not the smell. I tried everything to get rid of the smell, it was so strong I could even smell it in our bedroom on the third floor of the house. It was so bad that I almost cried every time I came home....our clothes and belongings we starting to smell too. I tried thoroughly cleaning and mopping, baking soda, open windows (not with the dehumidifier on) for over a month in the dry season-nothing worked! As a last resort, I started researching air purifiers. Looked all over the internet and Amazon and after reading some good reviews about this one, decided to give it a try. I CAN'T BELIEVE THE DIFFERENCE!!! I hardly ever write reviews (who has the time?) but I feel compelled to share. This airpurifier works awesome! In less then 24 hours (on high) my entire house smelled fresh and clean! The musty smell is completely gone...I'm only sorry that I waited so long to buy it!

This unit has proven very efficient in providing a better air quality. With the option of settings, it is not disturbing to sleep.

A good product

Just what we expected from Bionaire, after 1 day we could notice our air changed in our house.

AWESOME

I've only rated this product "good" because I only bought it this morning, so I can't guarantee anything yet.. But it's been "excellent" so far!!
We recently had some water damage. The last couple days the kids and I have been stuffed up. I've had it on for an hour and already am breathing clearer. I will be moving this room to room for the next few weeks. Let's hope it does the trick.

Sound level?

We just bought this for our new baby. The air definitly feels cleaner but it does a lot of noise.

Works well but noisy.

I bought it for my mom because she suffers from dust allergy.  It didn't help her and despite of this air purifier she's still on allergy medications.

At first, I was happy, but two days later, the fan motor has began to make noise like hum from a electric transformer. So I decided to return the product in store and get another one.
Same thing, the fan motor make a hum noise like the other. 
If you go on very popular website and you read reviews on that Air Purifier, you will see that it's a recurrent problem. THIS IS NOT AN AIR PURIFIER BUILD FOR LAST!! Cheap and poor quality China motor fan.
I will never buy Bionaire again.
