These hawk decoys have worked beautifully to keep acorn woodpeckers and flickers away from the house. No longer are they making holes in the siding!

We used it on the porch to keep the swallows from building their muddy nests under the eaves. Now, it is "perched" near our blueberry bushes to keep the birds and squirrels away.

We bought this to keep the birds out of the shed and garage and away from the cats food on the porch. It so far seems to be doing the job.

This deterrent did it's job. I had trouble with small birds building nests behind my shutters. Every so many days, I move it around.

Great

I bought this hawk decoy to keep the birds from eating my dragon fruits during the summer months and so far so good. I moved the decoy bird once a week, facing different direction as suggested. The only downside is that it also scared the humming birds away. I used to have humming birds visit my yard daily which I don't mind!

My fruits protector

The decoy did work in ridding the yard of the bunny chewing Hawk. But not for advertised reasons. This decoy worked by being so ugly and unrealistic, that it offended the Hawk away never to be seen again. This decoy is butt ugly! But works!

It does work.

Our house had become a picnic for some sort of woodpecker. It would not respond to us yelling and saying things about its family and politics. But I placed a decoy near each of two feeding areas and the bird has not been back. Really!

I have a problem with birds making nests and roosting under my folded up awning. I think it may have scared them for maybe 1 day but after that they couldn't have cared less. I moved it frequently & even hung it right by where they build their nest and nothing.

Doesn't do as promised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The yellow finches plucked the petals off of my zinnias starting with the flowers right next to the “Bird Begone” plastic hawk image. I was so disappointed with this product.

Bought two.. It worked for 48 hours.. waste of money !
