Love this birdhouse. The bluebirds found it wtihin days of me mounting on an existing ple with baffle and began ensting. There are 5 eggs now and I'm enjoying watching them nest and can't wait for them to hatch. I wish I could upload a video to show the quality of what's captured. Great that there aren't any subscriptions required or extra fees. I get notifications and can see automatic clips or watch live. Very pleased!

Got my birdhouse configured and tested and so far I really like this item.   The birdhouse is made with untreated pine so I opted to buy some tung oil to treat it.  I am impressed with the build quality of this, it's a lot more than just a wooden box.  There are vent holes, drainage holes, solar panel, and a mount to easily hang the included camera.   I wish they had a little perch for the birds outside then entry hole.  I added a long screw for a perch on mine.  This is the only feedback I'd give other than maybe treating the wood beforehand.  

Using the app to pair my phone to the video camera was easy and I still get a video feed after 150 feet away from my 2.4mhz router.  I got this as an Easter gift for my wife and she is excited because its new and fun.   Recommended.

It's a lot more than just a wooden box.

This isn't my first birdhouse with a camera. Ease of set up clear picture. Silent notification that don't wear on your phone battery

Camera birdhouse . Easy Sturdy worth the money

Best purchase we made from W this year!! We really enjoyed the "birds eye view" of watching our family of bluebirds through the process of choosing the house, building the nest, laying the eggs, eggs hatching, babies growing, all in front of our eyes. The camera functions really well and the solar panel kept us fully charged at all times.

It was easy to use the Birdfy app to check in on our bluebird family and to capture photos to share with our family and neighbors. Everyone really loooked forward to our updates!

There is an optional bird-identifying subscription service that you can purchase - we did not need it for our purposes. We also didn't feel the need to pay for additional cloud storage, etc., so we found Birdfy to be very economical compared to other options out there.

We are just thrilled with this purchase and can't wait until it's nesting time again!

Really nice product; great quality on the electronics. 

House is cedar and should last a couple of years without treatment, but even if it goes, the electronic components and mounting will fit into another house. 

We've got a pair of wrens getting ready to lay eggs.

Just great, especially for the low cost.

The camera is not working with my wifi that has 5 rather than 2.4 that is required.  I am not savvy enough to figure out how to change the wifi to the 2.4.  The wood that is used will split easily if you put a screw in to hold it on a post that supports the box from the bottom..
The information provided on the website does not indicate the setting needed for internet to work with your cell phone.

I sprayed the box with Thompson water seal in the hopes to protect the wood from wet weather.

We already have a Birdfy camera feeder and love it. The bird house is very well made, excellent quality, and priced well  We didn't it keep it because our home WiFi is a 5 GHz system and the birdhouse only operates on a 2 GHz system. 2 GHz systems have a longer range and better penetration through walls so it is favored for this kind of use. 5GHz is faster, but doesn't have good distance or penetration. Our feeder has a dual 2/5 system, so it works well. Unfortunately, they don't seem to make a dual system for the birdhouse. If you have 2GHz wifi, buy this product. Watching eggs being laid, hatched, and baby birds being fed and grow is priceless.

As another reviewer pointed out, the camera included is not a night vision camera with an infrared LED. It's just a regular camera with a bright white LED that will turn on when the birds are detected. This shines a spotlight down onto the nest that I can't help think will disturb the mother and fledglings. 

I have a Birdfy feeder that my family enjoys very much, but this approach isn't good for the birds. I expected better from Birdfy.

The battery dies within days no matter what. The solar panel is completely useless and does nothing to charge the camera. Don't waste your money!

Waste of money

Piece of junk. DO NOT BUY!  Camera drops offline everyday which means you must reopen birdhouse, unscrew camera, reset, camera works for a day only to be offline the next day.  Also the Briefly app is horribly buggy hence poor ratings on App Store.

DOES NOT WORK. Horribly disappointed!
