Easy install, loads of fun to watch a variety of birds compete to build their nests. Bluebirds won! Plan on getting these as birthday gifts for our toddler grandchildren b/c they love watching (and learning 😁) the process. Not just for grandparents!

walmart.com

This is just an amazing product and wonderful gift for anyone who loves backyard birds! I first got the birdfy feeder and the nest is now my second Birdfy product. The app is so easy to use and set up is explained step by step with your smartphone. I would highly recommend and can't wait to add a 3rd! All your products connect to the same app and are organized perfectly.

I simply can't say enough…..excellent, amazing

if you want a good high definition quality smart bird house this is the one for you it shows HD imaging and it is solar charged I highly recommend if you like bird watching

The camera is not working with my wifi that has 5 rather than 2.4 that is required. I am not savvy enough to figure out how to change the wifi to the 2.4. The wood that is used will split easily if you put a screw in to hold it on a post that supports the box from the bottom..
The information provided on the website does not indicate the setting needed for internet to work with your cell phone.

I sprayed the box with Thompson water seal in the hopes to protect the wood from wet weather.

Requires internet connection of 2.4 to connect

We already have a Birdfy camera feeder and love it. The bird house is very well made, excellent quality, and priced well We didn't it keep it because our home WiFi is a 5 GHz system and the birdhouse only operates on a 2 GHz system. 2 GHz systems have a longer range and better penetration through walls so it is favored for this kind of use. 5GHz is faster, but doesn't have good distance or penetration. Our feeder has a dual 2/5 system, so it works well. Unfortunately, they don't seem to make a dual system for the birdhouse. If you have 2GHz wifi, buy this product. Watching eggs being laid, hatched, and baby birds being fed and grow is priceless.

I love this! My only feedback (and I hope Birdfy makes modifications) is on the camera system. I have a mommy bird with 4 eggs in my nesting box. The camera needs to be charged. The way the system is set up is frustrating. You have to disturb the birds to open the nest and detach the camera. There is no way to get to it without disturbing/scaring the birds. I would purchase again because it has brought much joy to watch a bird make her nest and have her babies. It just defeats the purpose when your battery is dying and you can't get in to charge it.

Very thin wood, one side broken. Seems to be packed well so not sure how it was damaged in transport.

Disappointed with wood quality

This is a really clever idea, but so poorly designed! You should definitely be aware right up front that it only connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If all you have is 5 GHz, you will have to create a 2.4 GHz Network to make this work. Not a deal-breaker, but something you should be aware of going into it. But the box itself has a couple of design flaws. For one thing, the hole is much too big, and invites invasive species instead of desirable ones. Just know that you will need to reduce the hole size to attract the birds you want instead of the ones you don't, as well as keeping predators from raiding the nest. Also, the little solar panel on top has some angle adjustment on it, but I had to actually modify the mounting, and the solar panel itself to make it work in my application. If you don't, then you really limit yourself to where you can mount it, because otherwise you can't get enough light on the panel to keep it charged. I got it for my wife for a birthday present, and she had so much trouble getting it set up that she was ready to send it back. We finally got the bugs worked out, and she is very happy with it. The app actually works really well and the camera image is very good. But again, just know that you may have to make modifications to make it work, depending on your location and application.

Why would you sell a rechargeable bird house with a solar panel that doesn't charge the battery. Contacted company they told me to buy a larger solar panel. NO GOOD if you want to use the camera . 120.00 wood box

Piece of junk. DO NOT BUY! Camera drops offline everyday which means you must reopen birdhouse, unscrew camera, reset, camera works for a day only to be offline the next day. Also the Briefly app is horribly buggy hence poor ratings on App Store.

DOES NOT WORK. Horribly disappointed!

Birdfy Smart Bird Houses for Outside Solar Powered, 1080P HD Live View Bird House with Camera, Perfect Viewing Bird Nesting and Hatching, Bird Feeder with Camera for Most Birds centered front view of a pine wood birdhouse with sloped black-painted roof, visible 1080p camera at the round entrance, solar charging panel, external perch, ventilation and drainage holes and included pole/wall mounting hardware; highlights AI behavior recognition, IP66 weather rating, 9000mAh battery and app-based live sharing. often used as a remote nest camera for backyard birdwatching.
