This product is great! Flocks of starlings were eating an entire suet cake in 2-3 days, from my old, conventional suet cage. The design of this one prevents them from landing on it, and sends them to the ground to search for food. Red-bellied and downy woodpeckers are regular "customers," and both varieties are able to eat unmolested now.

I'm replacing an old one. All the woodpeckers love this so they can rest their tail on it while they eat! Very sturdy .held up a long time in harsh Colorado weather

I like everything about this suet feeder - especially the color.  It's well made  and the sliding top makes it super easy to refill.      Very pleased.

I Like It

I tossed this up and put a peanut butter brick in it, and now I have all new birds in the yard! It is well made, and the birds love it!

The Flickers and Downies  love it . The peek  discourages the squirrels from sitting on top of the feeder ( which they did with my old one )  . Nice birding addition.

This little feeder looks cute hanging on the pole and is visited constantly by a Downy woodpecker, a nuthatch , chickadees, and some Carolina wrens.  A squirrel has managed to access it briefly during occasional climbs up the pole but usually gives up.  It survived being knocked around by some fierce winds recently without a scratch.  All in all a welcome addition to my feeder collection.

I would have liked to give it 5 stars, but my GREEN suet feeder is the beige color of spice cake.  I'd would have returned it and tried again to get an actual green one, but I'd already waited 6 days for it and I really needed one.

Wanted green and it was beige

Had it up for 2 weeks %26 no activity at all. Smaller than I thought it would be. One side of metal cage was bent %26 I had to fix that before the suet cake would fit.
