[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cake is packed with corn and peanuts and of course pepper to deter the squirrels.  I just put it out and within a day had several birds visiting to peck at it.  Love that it is no melt so when the days get hot I don't have to worry about it dripping down the side of my deck. I havent seen any squirrels on it yet but still to early to comment.  If this actually works it will be my go to suet cake.

I actually have noticed that the squirrels leave it alone.  I have had alot of bird feeders with all kinds of food and squirrels always put a hurting to the food. I am quite happy with the hot pepper suet cake.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I really like about this suet cake is the hot pepper that it has in it because it keeps the squirrels away. It's very dense in the way it's made so when the birds eat it particles of it do not fall onto the ground. So if you don't want squirrels eating your suet cake this is the kind you need to buy!

Only Birds Eat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Birds Choice - Hot Pepper Suet Cake for Birds to put in my Birds Choice - Suet Feeder Upside Down in Green Recycled Plastic. It fits perfectly and the birds seem to love it. I watch them every morning while I have my coffee. They are a delight to watch. I will be getting more to keep them happy all year round!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we have a lot of different birds that come visit the suet feeder they seemed to not like the hot pepper suet as much it took a very long time for them to finish it off. it could of been that the birds tht come to the feeder just dont like the hot pepper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try this Birds Choice hot pepper suet cake to see if the numerous squirrels in my yard would not like it.  They tend to eat most of our bird food from our feeders. I had this in my bird choice bird feeder I was trying for over a week.   No squirrels or birds ate it.  I tried this suet cake in another bird feeder that I've used many times before to exclude that the other bird feeder might be the problem.  Neither squirrel or birds have eaten it.  I gave this a fair rating because even after it rained, the suet cake was better intact and the squirrels did not eat it. Unfortunately,  the birds didn't either but I would still recommend others to try it to see if their native birds would eat it.

Keeps squirrels away and my birds

I was looking forward to watching  the birds especially my woodpeckers come to feed but hasn't been any birds at my suet feeder eating the hot suet cake!
