I was looking for two things in a hummingbird feeder, the first being it must be easy to clean and secondly it must have a way for the birds to rest while they are feeding.  I've had several feeders in the past that would meet one criteria and not the other.  The Hummerfest Hummingbird Feeder satisfied both.  It's been so easy to clean and now I can watch the Hummers longer as they rest and feed.  Now, if I could just get them to share.

Pluses: nice size (8-ounces is more than enough nectar), built-in ant moat, good weight, all-red top, transparent bottom. Our most frequent user is a male Oriole. The insect guards available to purchase don't fit this feeder. We haven't had an issue with insects, so maybe the design is such that plastic protectors are not needed.

I really enjoy the size of it because it's not insanely huge but it's big enough for a few hummingbirds to be on at once. The hook is super sturdy, so you dont have to worry about the string getting sundried and falling apart eventually! It holds a good amount of feed for the size of it, so, I'm not having to fill it up too often. I do like the change it out every so often though (if there is any left). During this time, I clean it out with the brush that is provided, it helps out a lot, especially to be sure that it doesnt start to clog up! All in all, my family and I love this feeder!

The metal rod it hangs from is very very sturdy and I don't worry about it possibly falling while they are eating. It is easy to take apart for cleaning and for refilling. They seem to really enjoy this feeder.

I made the same sugar water I did with the other. This only holds 8oz which I like bigger feeders. And trying to get this from my kitchen to outside was a mess. Liquid pours out of it. Not really liking the flat feeder. I like the bottle shaped one a lot more and so do my birds.

Hummerfest Hummingbird Feeder to hang outside of our back porch and I absolutely love it! It's super easy to set up and I especially love that it has an ant moat so it won't be overrun with ants. There are multiple holes for the hummingbirds to choose from and it's got that pop of red color so it attracts them to it. We definitely recommend the Birds Choice - 8 oz. There's not much to it to be honest.  Take it out of the box, fill it with nectar and hang it wherever you want.  Very sturdy construction and a overall well made product.  I would have liked to see the feeder holes outlined with a bright yellow "flower".  But overall a great product.

We are still waiting for the hummingbirds to go to it. We have not seen any as of yet. It holds the liquid very well it is easy to fill and is the normal yellow and red in color. I hope the birds come soon we are just coming into the season so it shouldn't be much longer.

It's so easy to hang and very easy to clean, it even comes with a small brush. 
I live in Alabama and it gets really hot, so I clean it about every four days or so.
I really love that I can sit back and watch these beautiful little birds feed. If your in the market for one, I definitely recommend this one. You will be amazed at the beauty you will see in your own backyard

I purchased this through a local dealer. It's a pretty feeder and does the job once it's hung. The problem is that the lid is too loose and it leaks all over the place. Nectar runs down my arm every time I hang it on a hook above my head. If the wind is too strong and it sways, it leaks. Waste of nectar and a mess.

I've had a couple different brands and I cannot recommend this one.
