This is great!!! I hate vacuuming and vacuum cleaners so much that I would rather spend hours sweeping my floors and carpet than haul out another noisy, bulky machine that typically quits working in a few months. OTOH, I recently purchased new area rugs and wanted to keep them clean, AND I have a long-haired cat. Reluctantly, I broke down and bought this as a lightweight solution. It was on sale, too, which made the decision easier.

It's GREAT! This is a featherweight machine that's easy and light enough for anyone to handle. It goes together in minutes if you look at the enclosed directions. Easy to use and maneuver. I used it on my three area rugs, and it worked wonderfully. Picked up the dirt, cat hairs, crumbs, grime, and assorted messes. It took about two minutes per rug. 

The machine is quiet, easy to use, and powerful enough for my needs. I wouldn't use it for heavy-duty cleaning, but it is perfect for apartment cleaning, area rugs, and quick pickups. I  like the bagless construction and ease of cleaning. Finally, I like the turquoise color and the fact that Bissell contributes to helping homeless pets. Five stars all the way.

Weightless But Powerful!

Im an older lady with arthritis and chronic pain throughout my body. I have a bigger, heavier vacuum for a deeper clean of my carpets, but I was looking for something lightweight for the bare floors . I have cats so theres always hair and litter. This little vacuum is perfect for that need.  Its extremely lightweight because its all plastic, not heavy duty for big stuff, but its a powerful little sucker that gets the litter and crumbs.  It has no beater brush, but it still gets stuff up off of my flat carpets.  Im a happy camper with this little guy.

The chair comes compressed and at this point it's still very small for my grandson so I'm a little disappointed hopefully in a couple of days it grows to be the size of the Minnie mouse ones we bought at the store. If not, I may have to return it because he's a big kid. He's only three but he's a big kid.

For the price, you can't beat this. Why would you buy this instead of a vacuum?  It is for quick clean-ups and crumbs. I actually purchased for my son who is now vacuuming his room.  He constantly spills crumbs everywhere and this works perfectly.  No bags, no maintenance, Bissell makes great products! ~Yode

I bought this just for my living room as I have a 3 year old and there's always a mess at the end of every day. I have chronic back pain and I got tired of bringing my bigger vacuum cleaner out so often just for this one room. It has great suction and cleans up anything my little one leaves behind and I love the different ways it can be used. It really is incredibly light so I can use it often without any back pain.

Perfect for Quick Clean Ups!

definitely lightweight, I can pick it up and move quickly from room to room, doesn't tear the fringe off the rugs, works for both carpets and bare floor, cord just a bit short but that's ok, I just unplug and move on, it does the job needed and the price was right

just what I needed

I used my stick vacuum for the first time the other day and was really impressed with how convenient to use and the suction power that it has.  It worked well on the hard flooring and grabbed the kitty litter my cat kicks out right up along the walls.  Kitchen crumbs, too.  We have a large low-pile area rug in the living room and it took good care of that as well. So much easier than dragging out our large, heavy, vacuum cleaner that cost 5 times the price. It may be spending a lot more time in the closet!

I have hardwood throughout my home. I love this product and the long handle and removable end allows me to get dust from ceiling and corners.  This is like 4-5th one I have purchased as after a couple years of constant use it needs replaced.  Will purchase again

I purchased this mom for my 95yr old mom :)  It's so lightweight and perfect for her. I used it to see how it cleans. And while it does the floors very well, it doesn't pick up good on carpet, but for her it's perfect! She even told me how easy it was to empty the cup! So she's happy!

this is twice as expensive as another model that I bought called the ion, and the rubber piece on the bottom that Glides along the floor that helps sweep up particles it wears over time if you even have a light rug that you're pushing it over so this was double the price so I sent it back because I might as well get the original one and they're all cheap they'll last about 2 years of till things start needing to be taped together like the handle Etc

I can't believe I wasted $30 on this! I just wanted to be able to occaisionally vaccumn the three rugs I have in my apartment full of hard wood floors and get the dust off my blinds. I use a rubber broom on the rugs to get up everythig I can first. When I try to use this vaccumn, I get ONE SINGLE PASS OR LINE vaccumned before the suction is GONE. You would think there's tons of dirty getting sucked up right? NO! When I stop to clean out the filter after each line, there's almost nothing there! The filter is tiny and super dense. When it's clean and I turn on the vaccumn, holding my hand near the filter, there's very little suction. This is a great toy for a child who is pretending to vaccumn. Don't waste your money. You will just create more work for yourself!
