We bought this for our 9 year old son. I played with it a little bit when we got it and it seems super cute. He is going to love it (Even though its purple and seems to be marketed to girls) I wish they would make a different color for boys. They like animals too!

Christmas gift

The kids loved this toy. I don't think it's worth the money since they easily achieve all of the levels and get bored a few days in. But for the few days, it was awesome!

Good entertainment

My daughter has autism and she loves it. The only down side is that the size of it, carrying it around makes it a little difficult with no handle or something to grip onto from the outside. You start off with 1 pet and you can collect and change up to 15 different pets within the bitzee.

Cute and unique

The tech reused in this fashion is great. However when you "touch" the pet, you just see a line and hear it making noises. you dont see them enjoying.. Its not like other digital pets that you have to raise one over weeks. you can grow ALL 15 in less than a DAY! So take that into account.

great tech but...

The design and idea is adorable ans my daughter loved it, but the first time she "pet" it, exactly as instructions stated, all the bars that make up the "pet" bent. It is still functional, just not as cute, as the digital image is a tad "sideways". I tried bending it back with no luck. She hasn't had much interest in it since, which was seconds after she opened it, so kind of a bummer.

Cute But Flawed

It's a cute toy and my daughter liked it but was only able to play with this a few days before it stopped working. We tried changing the batteries. It starts to come on, beeps 3 times and then shuts off. This seems to be a problem a lot of people are having but I can't find any info on anyone that was actually able to fix the problem

Warning

Bitzee stopped working on the second day.  In the evening before bedtime it was OK, but in the morning  when my daughter tried to play with Bitzee, it's show logo "B" and then turn off. We changed batteries but it doesn't help.

Stopped working on the second day

Bought 2 bitzee for my kids. My daughter's stopped working 4 days after Christmas. It loads the B for the intro and shuts off then chimes 3 times and done. That is all it does now. My son's only played his a few times for 5 10 minutes. His is still working so far. Very disappointed and now have a crushed little girl. She loved playing it. Been looking and seems this is a very common problem. Yet no one can seem to find how to fix it. Pretty sure it's defected and they are pretty aware of it.
