I have owned a B & D hedge trimmer for over 30 years and while it did not give out, I bought a new one same kind same size and price was great. I expect to get the same quality of operation from this one. ( I'm giving my old one to family). Light weight, easy for me to handle and I am 70 years old.

I WAS REALLY SURPRISED WHEN I WENT TO PICK UP MY BLACK & DECKER 18" HEDGE TRIMMER, & FOUND THAT IT WAS NOT VERY HEAVY @ ALL FOR ME TO CARRY. IT WAS ALSO VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLY. I ALSO HAVE HAD SO...MUCH FUN USING IT ALL BY MY SELF. THIS IS A VERY EXCELLENT TOOL. I WILL CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR AN INEXPENSIVE, EASY TO HANDLE HEDGE TRIMMER.

GREAT HEDGE TRIMMER FOR THE PRICE

I love it! We live in the country so I really did not have a hedge to trim. I purchased this trimmer to cut down some over grown on our fence, this did the job. It is light weight so I had no problem doing the whole job at one time.

Great for small job

It is light weight, and worked well on the sample cutting I did; wrong time to do full trim.  Package was slightly damaged, and had been previously opened,  but trimmer was fine.

I received my order ahead of schedule, very little (easy) assembly and preformed better than I had expected. Cuts through branches with ease.

bETTER THAN I EXPECTED!

Because of my arthritis at age 70, I can no longer use pruning shears. This lightweight electric trimmer does a wonderful job for me.
I would certainly buy it again.

Works well

Although the item was received in working condition, the packaging was destroyed and taped from end to end. In addition, it took several weeks to receive the item. The item is a good value and works well but the delay in receiving it and its poor condition upon arrival is a big offset.

Trimmer is great for residential use

Received the item box was taped up. You could tell it has been opened pieces of box and packing material missing from inside box. Looked like a return item. I must admit this is the 1st time I have had a problem with Wal Mart shipped products. WAS VERY DISSAPIINTED it WAS a gift.
