I had bought this years ago!  I have been looking for this can opener for a while now!  It is up out of the way, it works beautifully, lasts years, and has never failed!  Mine just got old and needed a rest!  I am so thrilled with this little can opener, I am thinking of getting another, just in case!!!  It takes no counter space, like a regular one, it doesn't tip over, I can't say enough about it!  Go get one!!!!

My old model finally died. Wanted another one. This looks nice and does the job. Only reason didn't give 5 stars was because it was made for flat bottom cabinets. Had to add washers and move a little farther back to allow for cover the flip down. Also you need th push cover all the way back to open cans and to avoid dripping foid into cover. Otherwise, really like it. Worth the price.

Good product

This is an excellent space saver; however, do read the information prior to your purchasing it.  It will NOT work if your cabinets have an overhang or edging. Your cabinets MUST be flat on the bottom.  If you have decorative molding, this appliance is NOT for you.

Great, but READ the small print

I've only had this for a month now so cannot speak to durability.  It was easy to install and i love how easy it is to open cans.  Wasn't expecting it to hold onto the can (I'm not sure why) but I am pleasantly surprised that it does.  It's nice to be able to put the can in and move onto something else if need be.  I'm also not sure if we'll ever use the other features i.e. plastic bag opener, knife sharpener so in my opinion I'd appreciate a lower price on this items and leave those options off.  As of right now, I'm loving this can opener.  It fits conveniently out of the way and does exactly what I purchased it for.

I bought this can opener to replace an under the counter Black & Decker can opener that I've had for over 30 years. It finally wore out. This one is bulkier and takes up more space. It has a door that covers the opener that really serves no purpose. Unfortunately it's the only one I could find.

Good Replacement

As far as a can opener goes, it opens cans but who ever designed the mounting holes didn't bother to look at how cabinets are made. The front surface of most cabinets is about 3/4" thick and extends down below the bottom of the cabinet. The mounting holes are too close to the front of the unit and you can't mount the opener close enough to the front of the cabinet to allow you to remove the cutting blade without drilling into the front surface. I have the opener mounted as close to the front edge as possible but it's still too far back so I can't remove the cutting blade for cleaning. They also don't give you enough spacers. I had to add my own spacers to drop the opener down another 1/4" so the front door wouldn't hit the front edge of the cabinet, preventing it from opening. Poor design on the mounting method.

It works okay but we had to make a piece to under our cabinet to make it flush so can opener would fit. my old one fit under the cabinet. other than that I guess it will be okay I no things have to change but I did not want to.

I purchased this can opener to be mounted under our kitchen cabinets as intended.  After I opened the box the read the installation directions it clearly stated it can only be installed under "FLAT" cabinets.  Since my cabinets all have a 2" drop molding around the base this opener could not easily be installed.  I would have to create and install my own spacer or cut out some molding to flatten the bottom of the cabinet.  Too much hassle so I returned the opener.  At my previous home I had a previous version (white) of the same opener and it came with plastic spacers to allow for molding.  It's a shame because the opener looked good otherwise.  I wish the installation limitation was clearly described in the product description when I purchased it so I would have known that this opener would not work for me.

Quality okay but limited use

Item was cheaply made.The plastic was very flimsy. The lid did not lock in place properly. This can opener will not mount properly if there is a lip on the edge of your cabinet. Cabinet must be completely flush. This was not mentioned in any ad or description of the can opener that I saw. I returned this piece back to the store. Not satisfied.
