My son is taking cooking in school and learned to do pancakes.  This is a great tool for that, as he can make them off to the side area of the kitchen while we make the eggs and bacon on the stove.  This griddle is great for keeping even heat and he can do several at once, instead of one or two in a pan on the stove.  It's non-stick, but he still sprays it with Pam.  Not sure if that's because he was taught that way or it needs it.  

It's super easy to clean, lightweight and has a little drip pan for when you're making something greasy.  I'm so glad I bought this.  It's perfect for our family's needs.

First of all I Shirley Guenther purchased thus item as a wedding gift for Eric and Danielle  I can't rate it since it's not mine. I would like to State though that Wal Mart dud not include my name with the gift so they would know who it came from. It doesn't make sense to have a wedding registry work this way.

It is working perfectly fine and the size is really convenient for small spaces

Practical!! - Oh, my God.

This very inexpensive griddle is the ideal thing for someone elderly like me.I didn't need one that might have a 25 year lifetime. It is extremely lightweight, non-stick and heats up very quickly. It holds a true high temperature and is great for searing as well as cooking with a controlled temperature. The drip cup stays in place and does not leak. I am ever so pleased with my purchase and who knows how many birthdays it might have.

Griddle

The griddle size is smaller than stated in the description. I am returning it today.

Black & Decker electric griddle

I have just received this B&D Family Size Griddle - and while it came very fast and well packed - it looks like the metal surface under the non-stick cooking surface either didn't get cleaned or was left rough as the non-stick surface is not smooth as I think it should be.  I expect that the first use with even a plastic flipper would go right through the coating due to the roughness present. I will be returning this one to see if we can get another one that was properly prepared and coated.
