Bought this last Cmas for my then 3 1/2 yr old son. slightly concerned that he might outgrow very quickly & that product wouldn't hold up to wear & tear. Got it set up cmas eve. looked great under tree. made quite the impression! has held up wonderfully even to kids i babysit in afternoons. my son loves its of course but so has my 6 yr old daughter! great santa present! so much to play w/ on table keeps them occupied.

This is awesome and very inexpensive. I bought this for my sons birthday. He loved Handy Manny, but the Handy Manny tool bench was over $100 and you had to buy the tools separate. This has every tool you could imagine for half the price. My son loves it and is always playing with it. Definitely worth every penny!!

Black & Decker Power workshop

I looked at many tool benches / workshops before deciding on this one. I got it for my son's 2nd birthday and he absolutely loves it. It is well worth the price, very sturdy and comes with more than we expected! My son loves it and plays with it all the time, it is by far one of his favorite presents. It was very simple for my husband to put together. I would definitely recommend this product, it is well worth it and much better quality than others out there.

Best Birthday Present

I bought this gift with both my granddaughter and son in law in mind. My daughter and her husband just bought thier first home, they have been remodling and so I thought this was a perfect gift for my 2 year old granddaughter and her daddy. It was a great surprise for him and her too!
She enjoys working side by side with her daddy on home improvements.

Granddaughter and daddy gift

Last Hanukkah,I purchased a child workbench from Overstock.com. Pictured online it looked amazing.
There were no reviews, so I took a chance. It was the worst toy I have bought & the assembly was
rediculous. We gave up! I returned it because it was
so cheaply made.
My grandson was so disappointed and I couldn't find anything else, everything had sold out.I purchased a toolbox with tools, and my son purchased another tool box but we couldn't find a bench. I was on the waiting list for one at ToyRUs which suddenly appeared on there site. The Reviews were awful! I was so happy I didn't purchase that one as well. FINALLY, after months of searching,& looking at reviews I found the BEST WORKBENCH out there! BLACK & DECKER deserve a BIG HUG & KISS for
putting so much thought into this bench. It was easy to assemble, (the pieces were lettered),
and it isn't flimsy. The tools are amazing! The hammer looks just like Daddy's. The saw and drill are battery powdered.They sound real and light up.
Their extendable flashlight turns on and off.
My grandson said its the best toy he has ever had.
This grandma is smiling. I know it will sell out by Christmas. Hurry.

BEST child workbench out there!

I bought the Black & Decker Power Tool Junior Workshop for my grandnephews 2nd birthday. I know it is for age 3 and up, but he's not inclined to put things in his mouth and there are very few small parts. My brother-in-law assembled it in just a few minutes.

My grandnephew LOVES it. He takes the snakelight everywhere he goes. He loves the power saw and drill press and his grandmother says he his "drilled & sawed" everything he's big enough to carry over to the workbench. It was out on the patio, but they moved it into his playroom because he wanted to play with it all the time. He "repairs" his other toys with the tools. I am thrilled that my gift to him is such a big hit!

Great Gift

We bought this for my 2 1/2 yr. old son for christmas this year. He loves the fact that most of the tools do something, whether it be the snake light that really lights up or the tools that (if you leave the batteries in) make realistic noises. It came with a good assortment of tools and a neat little toolbox that they can build themselves with help from a grownup to originally read the instructions. We also bought another set of black and decker corresponding tools and gear to go with it. The only this I can complain about is that in order to put the toolbench together, you have to use some of the nails and screws and nuts and bolts from the tool bench set so it doesn't leave you with very many once you are done with that so you may want to see about getting more of those items to go with it. Other than that we were very pleased with this set and our 2 kids are having a blast playing with it!

fun for toddlers

We or should I say Santa got this from my 2 yr old son. It was VERY easy to put together. But warning by the time you put it together there is really not many extra screws for you kid to play with so I would buy more of those. Also my 5 yr old Daughter loves this toy too. Every kid that comes over ends up playing with this toy!!! They love to keep rebuilding the tool box.. my daughter has also built some of her own things... ha ha.... I would recommend this toy!! I have even caught my 13 yr old son playing with it with the younger kids.

All ages LOVE it!

I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday and it was a huge success. The height is just right for him. The only complaint I have about it is that the velcro was already coming off of the plastic wooden pieces, just out of the box(nothing a little super glue can't fix).
Oh and the other complaint is that now I have to pick up all the tools, screws and nails that are scattered across my house! :)
Great toy and value!

Well, I love the way the product looks but, the tools are not very sturdy. You would think they would make the hammer a bit more durable. I have twin boys and one of my sons was banging the hammer on the work bench and part of the back of it broke off. They also broke 2 more tools only one day after santa gave it to them. They weren't doing anything out of the ordinary with them, just pretending to "fix" their chair. And pop, snap, BROKE. They love the bench though. I also got them the black and decker leaf blower and weed eater. They love those. And those haven't shown any sign that they are going to break. I wish this was better quality. My sons are about to be 2. I can't imagine how quickly a 3 or 4 year old would break the tools. They like nailing the nails into the tool bench and using the screw driver to turn the screws into it. They also like to show me the tools and tell me, "dada". Because, they know daddy has a tool just like theirs. It definitely keeps them entertained. I just wish it was more durable. I should have bought the little tikes one.

It's an ok product. But the work bench does not have a lot of things you can do.
