This fit my weed eater perfectly. And easy to install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Direct OEM replacement spool housing for my Black/Decker GH3000. Quality seems well made, will see if it holds up over time. 

Repair quite easy, several videos on YouTube available to walk someone through it. 

Price is ok - cheaper than buying a new trimmer but hard to fathom this costs more than a few dollars to manufacture. Would be curious to know the margin.

Direct OEM at a moderate cost

The only problem with this is that the  installation instructions were woefully inadequate, and I wasted three frustrating hours trying to  put it on.  The seller provided no instructions at all, not even a schematic picture, and relied on customers to put up their advice.  Obviously, I read dozens of these comments, with not one person giving a reasonable idea of what to do.  Finally I gave up and told my wife I was taking it to the hardware store to ask them how to do it.  She said ""Let me look at it, maybe I can figure it out.""  Then she said, maybe we have to take this off, and then that.  Do you have an allen wrench?  So, in a few minutes we had it together and working.  Signed, ""Just another Dummy who happens to work as a professional Handyman.""

It's okay, if you're a genius like my wife.
