I use these all the time. I'm not a pro by any means but l like them a lot. Their a great size, l really like the shape and design, l take them everywhere.

Bought this for spares, namely for keeping my shoes on the back of my harness, prusiks etc, super compact and lightweight but still very functional.

Super Handy Little Carabiner

This screwgate carabiner is exactly what I'd expect from Black Diamond. It is light enough and strong. The gate works like new after many climbing sessions. I use them for all sorts of anchor configurations. Highly recommend.

This lightweight locker is just what I needed for quick and easy all around use!

Works Great!

Nicely made though a bit smaller that I had thought it would be. (I bought this online from the Black Diamond web site) I bought this as an accessory for my sling bag.

Nicely Made

Feels really solid and reliable. Easy to use one handed, with gloves, or whatever situation you may find yourself in. Price doesn't hurt either!

Only down side is that the biner is a bit too thick to fit into standard sport climbing bolts when there is another biner in the bolt (ie quickdraws). For this reason if you have to bail off of a route mid-climb and use this to anchor yourself to the bolt you may not be able to fit it in the bolt or it may jam between the bolt and the draw.

In this case I would recommend finding a thinner biner to use as a bail-biner. Whatever you choose just don't be the person who leaves quick-links in the bolts.

Bomb-proof Biner but a Little Thick

Quality of component material does not hold up against the abuses of caving-- collar at base of screwgates rust. 
Gate opening is fairly narrow and does not like to bite across the ears of water-swollen 11mm pit rope.

Perfectly great for aboveground activities, though.
