I installed the Black Ice plastic in my two place trailer to stop my aggressive carbides from cutting my floor to bits. It was super easy to install. I cut it to length and angles with a simple miter/chop saw. I really like it's low profile in the trailer so that when the snowmobiles aren't in the trailer your not tripping over it. I did my measuring pretty closely but wish I had ordered one more just because of the angled pieces took more than I thought. I will buy this as a replacement if needed and recommend it if you want low profile, easy to install plastic for your trailer. Kyle G.

The ski guides work great. I have installed them now on two trailers. They are holding up well and were super simple to install. You can take smaller pieces and install them sideways to give your track traction as well. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to protect their trailer, their snowmobiles and themselves.

I have always used the ski glides on my trailers. I have bought a new trailer and order the ski glides right a way, would not load or unload sleds without them. Great product and at a great price. Anyone that trailers sleds with carbides with or without makes live much easier with the ski glides for loading and unloading!!

I received these Ski Guide protectors for my snowmobile trailer as a Christmas gift from my wife. They were very easy to install and took less than an hour to do so. I read some of the other online reviews, so I knew exactly what type of hardware to use. They look great and seem to be quite durable. I would highly recommend this product.

Snowmobile Trailer Ski Guides-affordable protection

I like this type of ski guide better than the deep grooved ones. It is much easier to slide your sled sideways in the trailer. With the deep grooved type you have to lift the front of the sled to get it to slide. Be aware that this product did not come with screws so you will need to purchase stainless steel screws.

Very Happy with the Ski guides

I've used many other companies and so far, this one is the best. Glides perfectly and screws into the truck bed easily. The companies communication was great. I was tired of using a trailer that had to be covered up. I decided it was time for some guides. The guides look flawless and my my sled went in a lot easier than the trailer. Overall, great company and amazing product.

Great Product

I used these to make a drive in parking stall in a garage. I hammer drilled 1/4" holes in the concrete and simply inserted 2" bolts through the holes in in the slides down into the concrete. I did not use concrete anchors just bolts that push in kinda snug. It works! Piece of plywood bolted down for the track.

One of the ski glides was damaged about a foot back from one end. All the treads appeared to have come in contact with something hot that melted the tread pattern in about a 6 inch area across the tread. I did not return it as I figured it would be OK and wanted to finish my project as planned without the hassle of returning it.

Damage

the Guides were Ok and easy to load on But did not come with screws to fasten them down with and even though I did as the suggested as for not fastening them down tight and allowing them to expand and contract. they still warped with in 4 days of placing them on and parking the sled on them.

I got the grips, and wish they did not have the screw holes in them. That is just where my dual carbides need to run. They will be running over the poorly designed screw slots which do not keep the screw head from the carbides. The holes are about 16 inches from each other. Really, this will work? I feel my skis will likely jump out of the shallow groove and end up on my brand new trailer floor, but I will have to try it. I probably will not use the screw slots from the factory and drill inboard on the guides so that outside track is free of screw heads. I guess this is better than nothing, but It really is wimpy looking plastic. I got them quickly, I will give you that.
