This Blackstone signature 12 inch basting cover is far better than the regular 12 inch Blackstone basting cover with the black handle.  This one is very sturdy, well made and about 2 inches taller.  Very pleased with this cover.  Well worth the extra $5.

Great Basting Cover

I highly recommend this tool as an addition to your Blackstone griddle. It is ideal for all levels of experience from a novice to an expert. 

I am new to the griddle world, but I know how to manage a kitchen. Controlling the temperature of your food is essential. The round basting cover allows you to steam your food in minutes after searing. Ideal for chicken, vegetables, and other types of food. Great love it just the right size for my 17 inch griddle

It would have been fine for it's intended use, I ordered it in error.

mistake

I have a 27 inch griddle. This is almost a little too big to use if you are trying to split the griddle for different things. It's great if I am only using the dome for everything on the griddle. I may have to buy a smaller dome when cooking multiple courses simultaneously.

Cheap. Very thin. The knob on the top keeps coming loose. You have to constantly tighten it with a screwdriver. Don't waste your money.
