Bought this Blackstone 36" griddle for my husband and accidentally upgraded our entire lifestyle. He loves it. Like talks about it to strangers loves it. Every weekend now comes with smash burgers, breakfast feasts, and the confident declaration of “I've got dinner handled.” The 4 burners heat evenly, there's tons of cooking space, and he looks genuinely happy flipping food like a backyard hibachi chef. The hard cover keeps it protected, cleanup is surprisingly easy, and I'm reaping all the benefits without lifting a spatula. Highly recommend if you enjoy good food and a very proud husband.

Bought for my husband, now I eat like a queen

I got this for my dad for his birthday last month and I could tell although he was hiding it. He was super excited for it. I'm very handy so I was going to build it for him, but he was so excited. He could not wait and built it that night by himself. I was very surprised because he is not good with his hands so the fact that he built it perfectly means anyone should be able to assemble it.

He said it was very easy to assemble, even by himself putting everything in his place was easy for him. 

He loves cooking on it and he is very happy that it came with a lid, which is what I was going for. I think you always need to get one that comes with a lid.

He has already cooked on it time and time again, you name it, chicken, steaks, hamburgers, fried rice, literally everything he has cooked already and he loves it.

My Dad loves this thing

So, I bought the Blackstone 36-inch griddle, and I swear it made me feel like the Gordon Ramsay of suburbia. This thing is massive. It looks like something they'd use at Waffle House during the apocalypse. Four burners. 60,000 BTUs. You could probably sear a T-rex on it if you tried.

Assembly took me and my questionable patience about an hour. My spouse “supervised,” which is Gen X code for standing there with a drink saying, “You sure that goes there?” But once it was together — chef's kiss.

First meal I cooked? Bacon, pancakes, and eggs all at once. No juggling pans. No passive-aggressive sighs about cold food. Just glorious synchronized breakfast chaos. The smell alone made my teenage kids put their phones down for 10 minutes — so yeah, miracle confirmed.

Cleanup is surprisingly easy. Scrape, wipe, oil. You treat it like your first car: a little grease, a little pride, and a lot of denial about how much you spent.

Downsides? Well, it's huge. Like, “takes-up-half-the-patio” huge. But honestly, I don't care. I'm out here flipping burgers and pretending I'm in a Blackstone commercial while the neighbors peek over the fence with grill envy.

If you're on the fence — get off it. Get this thing. You'll either become a backyard legend or at least have enough surface area to cook through your feelings.

Midlife crisis? Nah-Just Me and My Giant Griddle

I already have recommended this and haven't even cooked on it yet. Directions are easy to follow. I can't wait to actually get to cook on it and be able to use it. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be but that's okay plenty of room with the shelves!!

One of the best investments ever. We had an off brand one for a couple of years, but after getting this one, HUGE difference. When seasoning the grill, be sure to let it cool completely between coats. Love this griddle! When you register, Blackstone will send you recipes and tips. These are very nice and delicious!

Grill came preseasoned but did it anyway. I've used it several times just in the past week and is awesome. Heats surface  completely edge to edge as it claims. I purchased the 4 zone 36” unit and highly recommend it. Going smaller would be tough if cooking with friends. I can easily cook with two zones if I want or go big. Easy to clean just heat up, squirt water to loosen particles, scrub surface and push to drain slot that's in the back, oil, and cover. Ready for the next time.

This is such a nice grill! My son put it together. It took him about 30 minutes and he said it was easy to assemble. I seasoned it and we were cooking on it a few hours later. We have cooked steak, ribs, pork chops, %26 chicken %26 it was all so good. If we have storms and the power goes out, I'm not worried about cooking  because you can cook most anything on the blackstone grill. I made a good decision to purchase this grill. It is great quality

Walmart pickup was quick and easy, which made the overall experience even better. The grill assembly instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. There were quite a lot of screws and pieces, but with a little patience, I was able to put everything together in about an hour.

The first time using the grill took a bit of getting used to, but after properly prepping the cast iron, it has been very easy to use. The food comes out delicious, and I've noticed that cooking time is faster than expected. I especially love the four different temperature settings on the cast iron grill—it makes it easy to cook a variety of foods at the same time.

I am a 69 year old lady, I never assemble products.  I assembled this by myself in 3 hours.  The only issue I had was they sent 3 Right shelf brackets and 1 Left shelf brackets, Blackstone is sending me another left shelf brackets.  This was a gift for my husband and he was very happy with it.  We seasoned the grill, and we cooked fajitas for 20 people, this griddle made it so easy to cook a lot of fajitas and a lot tortillas and grill the onions and peppers.  Can't wait to use it again.

Fun cooker!

the lid  isn't attached but it is a big griddle and by saving over a 100$ by going with the lid not attached it is worth it . It works just as good as the higher priced blackstones just doesn't have an attached lid. the lid is easy to take off and it attaches to the back of the grill the sides fold down when not in use and has your handle hangers on both sides a shelf underneath to store your cooking utensils. all in all it's a good griddle  for 300 $

For all the hype of Blackstone, I was very disappointed in the quality of this. Maybe this is also why they were on sale. Upon opening the package the griddle itself had a brown sticky residue across it that would not come off with soap and water. During assembly, the screws to attach the handles to the cover were stripping. Once assembled, the gas regulator was very finicky and inconsistency letting gas through to the burners. And then, the electric ignition won't work on one of the four burners.
