I had the free standing grill before getting the built in model. I loved it then and love it now. Kind of wish the grease trap was easier to access but it still does the job.

I have the 36” drop in. Easy to install in the insulated jacket. Just be sure to have two people and take out the griddle to make it easier to move around.

Easy install

Great way to keep the heat out of the kitchen - and reduce the number of pots and pans to cook! New design is convenient for breezy days - and love the lid to speed up the cooking process. Still learning how to regulate the temperature when cooking but overall satisfied

Love the Blackstone!

We got both the 36" Drop-in Griddle along with the 50" Outdoor Kitchen lower cabinet.  I thought that the need for the 120v cord was only for the igniter, but then we discovered that the "On" switch both illuminated the front of the cabinets and gave the knobs a back lit luminescence. What an awesome feature!  The burner auto lighting feature worked instantly, and once the burner was lit and burning, the corresponding knob turn orange indicating which zone was on and lit.  After seasoning the Griddle top with 4 layers of coconut and vegetable oil, I made our next 3 consecutive mills on the griddle.  

This is a game changer for cooking breakfast!  Having enough room to cook 2 lbs. of bacon simultaneously with a huge pile of hashbrowns, and then cooking 6 large pancakes along with 6 eggs and having the different heat zones made preparing a large breakfast fast and easy.  Cleaning the griddle was also way easier than I expected.

Just a few things to note regarding the lower cabinet.  When assembling it, make sure the cabinet is level, and the griddle is set on to the cabinet before installing the drawer slides, faces, and cabinet door.  The hinges are fully adjustable, and without thinking about it, I adjusted mine on an uneven floor, then I moved it into its final position and leveled it, only to discover that the drawer faces, and door was crooked and no longer lined up. Had I aligned everything with everything in the leveled position I wouldn't have had to do it twice.

We are very excited to have this for hosting large gatherings and think it will get used often.

Best addition to our patio yet!

My second Blackstone. I absolutely love the grill, but I purchased a built in with cabinetry and parts were missing. Specifically two trash cans for a pull out drawer.

Great grill

Does not mention in description that it needs to be plugged. Does not show in any pictures that there are lights.  And the lights don't even work.

LED light doesn't work

The griddle work well for about 4 months now will not light and, yes, I followed all the cleaning instructions. Whatever obstruction there is appears to be in the gas tube in the front of the griddle behind the control knobs.

Can't light

Waited a long time for my griddle and finally got it setup and one of the knobs then the wrong way and doesn't light the burner. Considering the money I paid, it's a bit upsetting.

A little disappointed

I am working with support on why the 3rd burner form the left is not fully lighting

Inital 3rd burner intermitent lighting

Used the griddle maybe a dozen times. Now when it is plugged into the power outlet, the GFI breaker pops. Of course happened on July 4th when guests are here for a party. Need to get another solution quick. Will call support after the holiday weekend I guess.
