So far this Blackstone is great!  We're planning a road trip and wanted something portable, but also management for two senior citizens to haul around.  Didn't experience any of the installation issues others have spoken about - putting it together went well, directions were clear, and I was starting the seasoning process within an hour of bringing it home.  Seasoning takes a while but well worth it - appreciated the seasoning butter blackstone sells.  I've cooked on plenty of flattops, grills, and pellet stoves in my time, but I was not prepared with how smokin' hot this thing gets!  There is a learning curve, but it's a fun one.  Have been enjoying its' ease of use, clean-up, and especially the delicious foods I've been cranking out.  I would love to have had a larger cooktop (22" Adventure Ready), but the 28" would have been just too heavy for us to handle. I highly recommend this product!!

Amazing product

Outstanding !!

When I was putting it together I thought wow this is well built. I wheeled it 2  feet and the handle snapped right off . I just cooked on it but Jesus what a bummer.

Seems well built but the welds on the handle suck

We love the actual blackstone, but the frame started rusting immediately and have already had to contact customers support for replacement items and it’s only been in use for 3 weeks. In addition it’s kept on a covered porch so it’s not like it’s had much exposure to the elements. I was so hoping to love this item but it’s been a disappointment.

Rusted immediately

I really enjoy the Blackstone brand. Unfortunately on the Blackstone adventure Ready 22 inch griddle The welding on the handle are very poor. There are three small tacks for each weld holding the screw plates. The first pressure I put on the handles 2 tack on one side and 1 tack on the other broke.  I started looking at the other handle and it was the same way. Knowing that the handles are lifting points, they should definitely have a much better weld for this weight of griddle.

just purchased this grill for our 4th of july camping trip. I set a dish on the side handle with tray and notice one side came apart from the welding part of it

Very poorly made

The jury is still out on this one. When I assembled this griddle, the part that is a combination handle and shelf was defective. The welds that hold the mounting bracket on were not completed and the brackets were only spot welded. The spot welds were so poor that they couldn't even support the weight of the handle and it broke off. I have contacted two separate depts at Blackstone and NO ONE has bothered to return my emails. So, based on the lack of support response, I'd have to say the company cares little about customer issues with their product so I would never recommend this product to anyone!

Defective and unresponsive manufacturer

Well I am definitely not the majority and maybe I just got a crappy one but 1st week knob came off (will not stay on). Had it 2 months and have used for only 2 trips less than a week each and to date the propane line keeps getting clogged and the handles are breaking and the 2nd knob has now come off and won’t stay on (have to use pliers to turn). I will be filing a warranty claim and will update my review based on that but for the price I say NOOOOO!

Not the hype

Very poor quality.  The Shelf/Handle broke off after only one use.  Blackstone does not have the part to fix the problem and has it on extended back order.  I do not recommend this item and I'm returning it to Walmart.
