I've been using this brand and specific product for many years and love it but they've recently changed the formula. It is now soooooo bad. Tastes awful, smells awful. I initially thought I got a knock-off product and was concerned for the safety of my lips but nope, it's just new and improved. I won't be buying again.

New formula is SO bad

I just stocked up and was horrified to learn that they've changed the formula. It is not an improvement. The SPF has been removed as well. I've used the original formula daily for so many years, probably 30+, and am SO disappointed. The formula change is not well marked so sadly I purchased 20 and popped them all out of the packaging before noticing. Expensive lesson, but not nearly as upsetting as the formula change.

New formula terrible

I am so relieved to see I am not alone with being unhappy by this "new" version of my once beloved Blistex Lip Conditioner with SPF in the white jar. WHY DID YOU CHANGE THIS??? I have used this particular product regularly for over 40 years. I always have at least 2 on the go in different locations. Now it has an unpleasant smell. And you took away the SPF protection. WHY?? Please change it back or I will have to find another product from a different company.

You should NOT have changed this product!

I have been using Blistex Lip Conditioner since 1985 and the new formula is disgusting! Smells terrible and doesn't moisurize like the old formula.  I liked having SPF 15 to protect my lips in the summer and now that's gone.  Please bring back the old formula asap!

Bring Back the Old Formula!!!

Blistex user for many years, opened a new tub, and wham, smelt terrible, used it, tasted terrible, and the taste lingers for hours after use.  Checked the ingredients compared to old tub, and ingredients have changed. New formula is terrible, even my child who also uses and is not fussy, doesn't like it. Change back to the original formula!!!

New Formula is terrible!!

As a 20+ year long time Blistex user, I was very unpleasantly surprised when I opened a new tub. At first, I thought I got a bad batch - it smelled and tasted terrible. The consistency is different too - it doesn't last as long. Upon closer inspection, I saw this was a “new & improved formula”.  Trust me, there is no improvement here. The SPF has also been remove, but the package looks the same as before minus the SPF letters. This product was my perfect go-to. Now I feel that a brand I used to trust has let me down with an inferior product. Time to find a new favourite. :(

Horrible New Formula

Like other reviewers I didn't notice the formula had changed with my latest purchase.  It has no substance and doesn't remain on the lips because it's softer and greasy so slides off quickly.  It's been my lip product of choice for 40+ years.  Saddens me when products are supposedly improved but are made into something that's virtually useless.

If I could give negative review I would. Zero stars - doesn't come close to old formula. Doesn't heal my lips. Stinks and tastes bad. Has no spf. They're making it look like the old formula and retailers advertise online with the original medicated spf 15 package - it is NOT. I'm looking for a new brand. Angry with the Blistex brand. Tried ALL the new sticks and none hold a candle to the white tub medicated spf 15. Thank you.

Zero stars - doesn't come close to old formula

I have been using the white lip conditioner pot since the 80s and it has always been my favourite lip balm. It lasted forever, smelled nice, had SPF, and could even help you breathe better if applied on your nose during a cold (I know that sounds weird). However, I just bought a new pot and was unpleasantly surprised to find that the formula had changed - and not for the better (how can something that was perfect be improved?) - and the SPF removed. Why??? This was wholly unnecessary and ruined the product. I am extremely disappointed to say the least. I will be requesting a refund. Bring back the old formula - until then, you have lost a customer.

Bring back the old formula!!

I have been using this product every night before bed for my entire adult life (25+ years). My most recent purchase was made from the Dollarama and was terrible, I assumed it was a knockoff product so recently paid double to purchase “the real deal” at a local pharmacy only to find the same miserable product. Upon closer inspection I found that it was the new “improved” formula. I am extremely disappointed in this product and brand now, and I hate that after all this time I have to find a new brand. This new improvement smells bad, tastes bad, and doesn't work as well. The improvements took a product I was willing to pay a premium for and turned it into one I will no longer purchase. Shame on you Blistex, cost cutting at the expense of your product is a sure fire way to lose loyal customers.
