This is a great "dudes on a map" game where you control viking clans trying to achieve the most glory before Ragnarok,  the viking apocalypse, sends everyone to Valhalla. The miniatures are amazing quality and the gameplay is very fun. There are mechanisms in place to keep anyone from getting too far ahead, which keeps the game interesting. The card drafting before each round allows you to form a cohesive strategy and removes a lot of randomness from the game. Overall, this is an amazing board game that works best with 3 to 4 players.
