Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Spray Sunscreen offers powerful but gentle SPF 50 UVA/UVB protection. Easy-to-apply spray dries clear and is enriched with skin-nourishing ingredients. Provides 80 minutes of water resistance. Vegan and made without Oxybenzone or Octinoxate making it reef-friendly, and formulated without chemical active ingredients. From a brand that’s been trusted by U.S. dermatologists for 20+ years. Free from Parabens, Fragrances, Phthalates, and drying alcohols, so it’s ideal for sensitive skin. Shake well before use. Adults and children over 6 months of age: • Spray liberally and spread evenly by hand 15 minutes before sun exposure. • Hold container 10 - 15 centimetres from the skin to apply. • Do not spray directly onto face. Spray on hands then apply to face. • Do not apply in windy conditions. • Use in a well-ventilated area. • Avoid inhaling or exposing others to spray. • Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating • Reapply immediately after towel drying. • Reapply at least every 2 hours. • Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: • limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.; and • wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses. • For external use only. • Do not use on broken skin. • When using this product avoid contact with eyes. I love that it includes aloe in its ingredients. Also that it is water resistant for over an hour, allowing my kids to safely play in the water without the risk of being burned.

It doesn't leave you with a pale white cast and it feels nice on the skin. Not much of a scent to it at all either. It sprays on really easily and protects well.

Effective sunscreen

When applied, the texture feels a little oily and very white, but as it spreads evenly on the skin, it becomes almost invisible. It has a pleasant scent and a good amount. There is barely any smell. It is very easy to apply: push down the button then spray! 

It doesn't appear too white when being applied. It absorbs pretty fast regardless. 

My kids have very sensitive skin so we have to be careful with the products we choose. Blue Lizard is my go-to brand.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mineral spray sunscreen works amazing. It doesn't leave a white cast on your skin but it does seem to leave it in the air. It's kind of pain to shake before and during use so I would say that's the biggest downfall. It isn't thick like other mineral sunscreens and has minimal sunscreen smell. Otherwise the coverage is great and stays on for two-three hours.

I really like the spray bottle it's the most convenient for kids, especially if sand is involved. No scent and the consistency is even and doesn't feel sticky.

Good Protective Sunscreen

There isn't much scent, it keeps you protected, but there will be a white hue to your skin for longer than any other sunscreen I have used.  It does clean off well, but takes a little scrubbing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Spray. Overall, it works well and I like that it provides good sun protection, but I found the application a little tricky.

I wasn't quite sure at first how far away to hold the spray or what angle worked best. It leaves a noticeable white layer when you spray it, and my kids were a little scared of the white spray at first. out how to apply it evenly and comfortably.

Maybe I just need more practice with this type of sunscreen, but overall, the main thing is that it does its job and protects well from the sun. So far, I'd say it's a good sunscreen, although the application could be a little easier.

I used this at home in Illinois and was burned after 2 hours in the sun. Really disappointed because we love blue lizard in our house
