He thought that the color changing feature was really cool.  The packaging was a little hard to open because of the cardboard screws, but probably more environmentally conscious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg my boys love this toy! Initially I didn't realize the back pulled out and once I did it was even more fun. I added water to it and my boys played for hours genuinely! It makes it that much better that bluey changes color! I love that it came assembled already so there weren't any tricky instructions or anything to have to put together. It's small enough to store away easily but big enough to get lots of play out of!

It is well-made and is such a cute set! This toy allows your child to use their imagination and create different scenarios. Great for ages 3 and up. This would make a great gift.

Bluey Color Change Boat

I purchased this as bathtub toy for our grandchild. Since the colour of the figure changes in water - and it's a boat - one would think that it's intended for the tub. Also it appeared on my list when I searched for bath toys. However, the box says that it doesn't float. That's disappointing! We'll see what happens when the little one plays with it.

I am disappointed it doesn't have more features, however that makes it perfect for the bath as it dries out very easily. The boat floats so well! I wish it would have come with some more characters/accessories, but my girls just added some from their other favorite sets to expand our play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product itself is cute. Not sure if the boat was meant to be buoyant but it didn't float in the tub. Most importantly, the package says the figure is meant to color change and I saw no color changing on Bluey's suit. Not sure how extreme the temperature needs to be but I'm not trying to boil the toy to reach color changing effect.

There's no color changing

Bought for the bath, turns out the boat is not a water toy, does not float and is not intended for water… yet they sent ONE  figurine with the boat, and the figuriine is water changing into swim trunks. 
Does not make any sense and very limited play with only one figurine.

Not a bath toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It says directly on packaging that the boat does not float and it should not be submerged in water.  The pictures on the front and the back of the box show a second character figurine which is not included (to my son's dismay). Bluey's vest changes color with different temperature water and the boat bed extends to make a pool.  Frankly, a boat toy not designed to float in the water is pointless.
