This time of year. My lips get dry and I find myself teaching for my luxe lipsticks. Plumping, glossy and long lasting, it really is such a gorgeous formula.  Not sure about 8 hours but I do get a full morning before needing to reapply. Highly recommend though!

I was kindly gifted two shades of these NEW Luxe Lipsticks namely Metro Red a beautiful red shade which I will be rocking this festive period and Neutral Rose a pink/nude shade perfect for every day wear. These lipsticks look and feel luxurious, they are highly pigmented and last more than 8hours. The formula is hydrating so lips don't feel dry at all.

Beautiful Luxe Lipstick

Luxe and Luxe Matte lipsticks are by far the best ones I have used. Both formulations are beautiful and comfortable. I hope Bobbi Brown will never discontinue these or change their formulations; I hope to use these 30 - 40 years down the line. Should be one of the Classics!

Wonderful hydrating formula, striking packaging (perfect for Xmas present or treat yourself!). The colour is not as neutral as I expected, it's got a little Pop of shimmer and it looks like you've applied lipgloss over the lipstick. It's just beautiful!

Received this from BB to try - LUXE LIPSTICK IN SHADE 'NEUTRAL ROSE' is such a pretty colour! Perfect for day time & weddings. The packaging is really beautiful & ideal as Christmas gifts for your favourite people. It is rich in texture, colour & non drying on lips. It DOES last for ages with slight rub off on mask ( still wearing them ) stays put even after drinking bottles of water all day

Practically Perfect in Every Way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of Neutral Rose to try recently, the first thing to say is the new packaging is so luxurious!  I wore the shade as a bridesmaid in my friends autumn wedding and it was the perfect level of pigment without overpowering the rest of my make-up. I find a lot of long wear lipsticks can be drying but this lasted the ceremony and drinks reception before needing a slight top up and my lips felt moisturised all day,

Great staying power without drying lips

Having been gifted two Luxe Lipsticks to try I just had to have a play.  The shades were 'Metro Red' and 'Neutral Rose' and both shades are gorgeous!  Neutral Rose is a definite every day colour for me and it feels lovely and cushiony on my lips.  Not sticky and no obvious 'lipstick smell' that you quite often get.  It's buildable colour too.  Dab on and smooth over with a finger for a light covering, or apply the bullet straight over the lips and feel yourself stand taller, and you're ready to face the world!  Long lasting but moisturising, it feels comfortable on my lips.  I'm looking forward to wearing the Metro Red.  The new design on the casing is beautiful with a satisfying click on closing.  Very stylish!

Gorgeous Luxe Lipstick

I'm very fussy when it comes to lipsticks but these are really great.  Very hydrating and the colour lasts - I can see this lasting me quite some time.  My lips are prone to getting very dried out at this time of year and these did not disappoint as my lips were hydrated all day.  Love the colour too.  A definite must for me.  Packaging did not disappoint either

this is a beautiful lipstick, it feels very hydrating on the lips. This also has amazing colour pay off. It has made such a difference to my dry lips, repairing what the cold weather has done to them! This stays on all day, without budging. I had the shade Neutral Rose, and Rare Ruby. I have also been using the shade neutral rose as a blush which i have been absolutely loving! I highly recommend this nourishing lipstick!

Hydrating Lipstick

I received these lipsticks in Metro Red and Neutral Rose. They both glide on beautifully and there is no need for lip balm underneath, even on my dry lips, as they feel balmy and nourishing. Metro Red comes up orangey-red on me which is not what I would normally choose (I prefer blue-reds) however I feel like I have superpowers when I am wearing it! The Neutral Rose is again not what I would normally choose, preferring cool pinks, however it is incredibly pretty and I wear it every day for work. The formula is feather-light which is why I think they need lots of reapplication, particularly in the centre of my lips. I have therefore given 4 stars because although I like them, other Bobbi Brown lipsticks stay on my lips longer, such as the Lip Color and the Crushed Lip Color.

Smooth application and pretty colours

I bought Retro Coral to replace the lipstick I have loved and worn a lot - however this new version is not the same shade or texture and it is very matte. It was visibly different when I opened and is a completely different lipstick when worn. Disappointing.
