Great French Press

A rental house that I stayed in while on a trip had this as the only coffee maker in the kitchen. I was forced to use it since it was the only way to make morning coffee. I was so impressed by the full coffee flavor it produced that I bought one. This is the exact French Press that was there. Some of the other reviews talk about it breaking easily, but I thought if a rental property would have it, it has to be fairly durable. Mine works perfectly. It's easy to clean and is holding up very well. Love it!

Bought this at my local store.  I have bought cheap versions of french presses before and they always break.  Decided I was going to get a good quality brand like Bodum.  Makes a great cup of coffee, very happy with my purchase.

Great Coffee Press

This Bodum French Press coffee maker is great for personal use. It is easy to use and and has a sleek minimal design. The size is perfect for a mug and then a refill. The handle helps with pouring and has a good grip.

Great French Press coffee maker

i have had four  if these bodums over the last 17 years when my cousin gave me one.  i have broke them by dropping two of them, my fault. im ordering another today. makes great coffee

Beautiful little guy but do not try to fit8 cups. It's 4 max. Still perfect for2 adult sized mugs though.

Not 8 cups

The size is handy and it's easy to use. My issue is that the metal filter creases around the edge, and that creates a gap that lets a huge amount of coffee grounds through. I tried to bend the filter to fit against the glass, but it's folds up again every time. I finally just tossed a normal paper filter in around the plunger to filter. It's inexpensive enough that I don't want the hassle of returning it, but it either has a defect or huge design flaw.

The filter doesn't really fit

Terrible! I had one of these years ago, and it was made better. The handle on this one is loose, and the glass is thinner. It's a piece of junk.

I have purchased Bodum products for years, and after buying this French Press less than 2 weeks ago, the glass is already broken. It seems that they've really decreased the quality of the glass they're using because I've never had this problem before.
