When you compare coffee made with this french press and a standard coffee maker, it is SO much better!  Simple and easy to use.  When it comes time to get a new one I will get a bigger one. This is pretty small, perfect amount for one or 2 people but when the whole family likes it you'll be making batches. Coffee is creamy and flavorful made with this. Simply pour very hot water, not boiling, over coffee grounds, stir, wait four minutes, and push the plunger gently to filter the grounds. Delicious!

I'm a beginner French press user! I wanted a press that was simple and inexpensive. I won't be going back to regular coffee makers again!!  The construction is simple, the base is sturdy and the size fits any countertop or cabinets space. The mesh is easy to clean.  For a beginner French press user, I'm spoiled by the simplicity!!

Beginner French Press user!

I decided to try this French press method after trying the regular drip coffee maker, the moka pot, aeropress, pour over and now this one. I can't decide between French Press or Pour over but I'll be switching back and forth with these two. I went with the smaller version because I'm the only one who drinks coffee so this is good enough for a cup or two and can make easily .5 liter of coffee. Walmart was definitely cheaper than Amazon for this item.

Good solid French Press. Easy to use and clean: everything comes apart and back together nicely. The only drawback I could mention is that the top of the lid is polished metal and shows every fingerprint on this mirror shining surface. Considering that the bottom of the lid is plastic anyway - it seems that this is just a look feature. 
Great little press, holds about 2 good sized cups of liquid: about 500 ml, would definitely recommend

Nice medium size coffee press

Never had a French press in my life! This is so easy to use and to clean. I thought the process would be more difficult and it definitely is not. If you're novice to French press this is a great starter.

Purchased some groceries and French press online on Walmart site. Size of French press and price seemed to be perfect on Walmart website. Added some groceries and selected pick up time at the nearest store.
Picked it up as scheduled,  store employee put everything into a trunk. That is it. Brought everything home. Very happy with my new French press and with overall process. Totally will do it again. Saves so much time.

Shopping made simple

Love this! Years ago a friend gave ma a small Bodum as a gift.  I had always used a traditional coffee maker with filters (still have in the closet) prior to the Boden.  When my small boden got cracked and the filter screen was bent out of shape,  I  ordered this one, a little bigger.  Absolutely love it!  And my coffee tastes better brewing in the Boden. Highly recommend,  there is nothing like a good cup of coffee.

I love the nice compact size of this for my solo needs. Clean design and so easy to use, just put in the grounds, pour in the boiled water, stir gently 30 seconds, bring the plunger down to the top of the liquid, leave for 4 minutes, then very gently and slowly press down the filter all the way. The only drawback is I wish the pl ungerwent down farther to press down on the grounds a bit more. There's always some liquid left above the grounds that I could drink if it hadn't been kind of floating above the grounds because the plunger stopped just short of pressing them all the way down. I would have given 5 stars but for this. And I have 2 other sizes of Bodum French presses and it's the same for all of them. Still very good for my 1-2 cups at a time. Rinses very cleanly and I find the results of French press are superior to percolators or Mr. Coffee and the like, second only to cold brew.

Compact %26 easy to use with one small drawback

It was decent, but it shattered in the sink when I washing dishes. It shattered after sitting in the water for several minutes. The water wasn't even super hot or anything, and nothing sharp was knocked against it. Not sure why it shattered, but I will be ordering a plastic one now. I had it for several months before it shattered though.

Spontaneous combustion?

Cheap, garage breaks way too easily. Lid leaks. Metal slightly bent can cause difficulty when inserting carafe into frame. Was $13.98 last year, def not worth $18 now.
Why isn't there an option to replace the carafe if it breaks?? This is the second one I've had break from barely tapping the edge of the sink.
