I have had the smaller version of this French press for a while now and it has held up well. But, I needed a larger version and stayed with this brand. 

It's priced right. Well made and easy to take apart. It's very easy to clean. Best of all it makes a fantastic cup of coffee, better than any drip coffee maker at a fraction of the cost and has even including an electric  kettle. 

You simply won't go wrong with this press.

Had two mainstays drip coffee makers burn out on me in two years time. My roommates and I would make two to three pots a day, which seems like a lot, but not for us. Decided to take the plunge and buy a french press and, honestly, I love it. It brews faster, tastes better and makes just enough coffee for the three of us each time we want to make more coffee. Plus, having perfectly fresh coffee each time is a plus in our book. It's easy to clean, easy to use and easily makes the best coffee I've ever had. I will definitely recommend this to absolutely everyone I know now.

Bought as replacement and love it

Bodum really does have the best french presses. We got a second one of these because we were going to be having company over and didn't want to have to wait between brewing up enough coffee for everyone. One of these brews just barely over 2 mugs of coffee. Works great and is easy to use. We still use the one we bought almost a decade ago, but it's good to have the extra for company. :)  It's also easy to find replacement screen filters for it, I bought a pack online before. The glass part can go in the dishwasher, but it's very easy to clean by hand as well.

Good coffee maker, easy to use.

You can trust Bodum is all I can say. My French Press is beautiful and I've had no grounds in my cup of coffee. I pour the hot water in from the electric kettle over some favorite coffee grounds, give it a few good stirs and place the plunger carefully on top just to keep it all nice and hot. Set a timer for four minutes and depending on how I feel I might grab something quick to munch on with my coffee. 
So the timer goes off and the plunger goes down steadily without being too heavy handed. You are in for a wonderful cup of coffee.

good french press it makes good coffee. I would recommend this French press. the only thing missing is.. my other pot had an arrow on top to show where the spout is makes it pouring much easier. this French Press does not. so I scratched a mark so I know where the spout is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didnt realize there's no measurement lines for liquids on the container…. So, have either eyeball 6-8 ozs of water or make a mark on the caraffe yourself.

I have it 4 stars purely because it only has 1 screen and no extras came with it. Because of only one screen, I get too much fine grit at the bottom of my cup, but what's drank is not too appealing in a cup of coffee. I had to buy a screen to get it properly filtered. Outside of that, for the price, it's a great little French press!

Needs a second screen

Only came with one filter, which I was a little disappointed in. The quality is not as good as my other one, which is much smaller. The size is excellent. Makes enough for 3 people for breakfast. All in all, it's great for the price. I would order it again.

Great for the price.

Pro: Great press that is easy to use and easy to clean.
Con: Drips water due to the decanter holder design and the ball top of the plunder hurts to use.

I accidentally broke my previous Bodum, which was the older Tritan style, which is just two straps to hold the glass with a flat bottom, and the plunger handle was disk-shaped.
This was the only one immediately in stock. 
It holds water between the glass and the outer holder after you rinse it out, so it drops water everywhere when you pour.
Pushing the plunger down is usually easy - as in it doesn't require a lot of force - but the ball in the palm of your hand doesn't really feel all that great. Because of this, I switched to using my metal camp press, and my Bodum is currently gathering dust.

Ball Top was not a good design choice.

It doesnt seal at the top so coffee got cold quickly. Also, the mesh screen is uneven and doesn't make a clean seal all the way around so coffee grinds seep around the edges.
