Ease Of Use

I love this travel size. I still have my 10 year old one and bought this one for back up. I love how easy it is to use and I cac throw it into my purse for the work commute.

Not what I hoped for

plunger does not go all the way to bottom, leaves unused, cold, and unfiltered coffee at bottom.  I wish I had not bought this.

Heavy, well-made travel mug. Incredibly convenient to have the French Press built into the mug. In the morning, you just have to pour in your ground beans and hot water and you can leave the house with a great cup of coffee.

Wonderful travel mug

I thought this was an innovative idea, where you can brew your coffee on the go if you don't have time to make coffee at home. It's definitely for someone who has busy mornings and needs their french press coffee asap. Even if you don't want to brew coffee in it though, you could still use it as a thermos for already-brewed coffee.  I like that the mug itself feels very sturdy and secure, definitely well-made and built to last. However, I would recommend to users that you don't leave the coffee grounds in there for too long or else the coffee will start to get bitter. Also I haven't tried washing this, which I imagine could be difficult.

Innovative and saves time, but has its drawbacks

Son was very pleased with his birthday gift!!!

The press doesn't work properly.  It doesn't keep the loose tea leaves from entering the liquid above the press.  

When I purchased this online, it appeared that the container was metal, but it was hard plastic.  It did not specify.  

I bought this for someone as a Christmas gift and I also bought one for myself.  I was very disappointed in the product quality, particularly since it comes from a well known brand name like Bodum.  I am very disappointed and will be returning the two that I bought.

Bodum Travel Press - Doesn't Work Properly

For this brand I expected so much more. The first one I ordered arrived with the plunder chipped, sent it back. The replacement one didn't have the steel edge at the bottom evenly crimped. I gave up and kept it. (Again for this brand they shouldn't have been defective.) Finally, when I got to use it I was frustrated because somehow coarse coffee grounds do float out from behind the filter. I have tried to trouble shoot this but it keeps happening. Coffee is correctly ground for a french press; water level is correct; I don't move the plunger once it's down; I make sure grounds don't stick to the rim when scooping it in--but still I drink grounds. :(  On the flip side, the coffee stays very hot. Oh and you have to add cream and sugar when you add the hot water, weird, but it works.  I would order one from another seller, this company may just have a bad batch.

Are these defective rejects?

This mug is great, so easy to use and produces a really nice cup of coffee that you can take on the go.  Fewer dishes to do afterwards as well!!

Unfortunately the plunger does not plunge!  It stops almost 2 inches from bottom of carafe.  I returned it.
