I was trying to find a pair of sturdy market umbrellas for a school lunch area. My Custodian told me not to get wood frame umbrellas, as we have experienced they always break too quickly in the winds and on the playground. I chose this market umbrella because it was the only one on Walmart.com that did not state it had a wood frame, wrongly assuming it would have an aluminum frame. Although delivery was very quick, we were sorely disappointed to open the box finding plastic framed umbrellas -- not appearing sturdy in the least! I returned both umbrellas yesterday and will look elsewhere for what we need.
The umbrella was attractive and may be sufficient for a backyard with no kids.

This is a PLASTIC frame, not aluminum

poor made and cheap quality, guess i shouldn't expect too much for the price i paid

DO NOT BUY this umbrella. We purchased 2. the first one had big stains from the wood inside. The 2nd one broke within a day of setting it up. The wood spline broke in half. they are both going back to Sam's today. What garbage!

Purchased one of these and it may have been a fluke but as soon as we opened it up, one of the supports snapped.
