Bondo® Fibreglass Resin is the same high-strength polyester resin that is used to build most boats. Can be used alone or with fibreglass tape, cloth or mat to repair damaged fibreglass boats, snowmobiles, jet skis, bathtubs and showers. Bondo® Glazing and Spot Putty smooths and repairs pin holes, scratches, nicks, minor dents, stone chips, and other surface imperfections in automotive paint and bodies. This product is a 2-part component formula that securely and quickly bonds to primer, metal, fibreglass and aluminum. Fast-drying and non-staining to help ensure consistent paint finishing, this putty's one-part application requires no mixing and shrinks over-time helping to ensure lasting repairs without rework. Additionally, its tube is designed to help ensure easy dispensing and application.

My husband uses this to cars and he is goingto fix a resin Foutain's base that is leaking.  My Dog loves his outdoorfountain for water .. I never thought about using thus and my husband  said it should work.

Easy to mix and apply, and cures solid and durable. Great for fiberglass repairs and reinforcing projects. Dependable Bondo quality that gets the job done.

I searched and searched for maximum volume of this resin and almost all competitors sell  ""426ml"" bottle such as  (Canadian Tire) for over $ 44.00 so getting ""852ml"" for $29.85 is a fantastic price, plus delivered next day???? WIN WIN situation.

Need some skills to mix the hardener. Need to have enough amount, and mix very well. Otherwise it still sticky for next day or longer

Mix well

I prepared exactly according to the instructions using the recommended amount of hardener.  It stiffened up beyond workability within ten minutes as the instructions specify.  But as with many other reviewers experienced, it never hardened completely, even a week later in the summer heat.  I tried again using three times the recommended amount of hardener and made sure to mix it thoroughly. The results weren't any better. The main impact is, it is impossible to sand smooth and I wouldn't try to paint that sticky mess. The sandpaper gums up  within seconds of sanding. After this the sandpaper can be cleaned with acetone and is still good for a few more tries.  But what's the use if it clogs right back up. Wet sanding helped some but creates a huge mess which must be cleaned up with acetone. After many $$ worth of sandpaper and acetone, and many hours of frustrating work I finally got it somewhat smooth and after all of that work the sticky mostly went away. But the amount of work involved to get there was ridiculous!

Dries sticky

I bought and used this product the same day. Waiting a full day before sanding and it was hard but tacky ruined my sandpaper so I waited another full 24 hours and same result. Now my canoe is sticking to everything I can't sand it to paint it. I'm very disappointed in this product I wish I didn't waist the money on it. I don't know what to do with it now.

Delayed my project. I bought this a few weeks ago, worked great. I ordered it twice more, but both orders the hardner was missing.

No hardner included, again, so angry!
