I bought this little bread maker one sale, and it works well for what it does. It is small and will only make a smaller loaf (for 1-3 people maybe), so it may not work for larger families. But it looks good sitting on the counter, and it doesn't take up much space in my already cramped little kitchen. Seems to function just fine. I've made 4 loaves of country white bread and 2 small batches of jam.  All were delicious. The book that comes with it is bare bones and doesn't have many recipes or details, so if you're new to bread machines, you may want to get better information. The recipes it does have looked questionable to me, so I just went by my own.  The biggest complaint I have about this machine is that the clock fogs up if it cooks back-to-back loaves or jams, making it hard to see how much time if left. It also seems to run a little hotter then my old machines. But it will make bread and it even has a delay setting that will have your loaf ready up to 13 hours later. I'd say it's probably fine for singles or small families, or even if you're looking for a cheaper model to start out with....as long as you don't mind having to find some additional information on the internet. There's plenty out there.
