We rented this game this past summer to see if we liked it. It was so much fun we got it for my step-daughter for Christmas. We could sit and play it for hours. I highly recommend it.

Way too much fun!!

This game is one of those games that the whole family likes, it is challenging and fun. All the modes are great. If you are one of those fighting game fans this wouldn't be your best choice, but stadegy lovers would love this game.

COOL!

I bought this for my boys for Christmas, but every night since we got it in the mail mom and dad have been up after bedtime playing. It is alot of fun, so many levels. You clear one thing and there is more and more to do. We have played single and multi player and it keeps your attention. Nothing like blowing up and knocking stuff over. I am sure my boys will love that!

We all liked this game - our competitive family members and the older, just want to play,folks. It is a quick game and challenging. It is also fun to watch others play - that's important to our group. The only thing that we would like is to be able to use out Mii's - but no big deal. Recommend for party play and casual groups, as well as competition nights

Fun for all ages

This game holds the interest of all 3 of my boys (11, 8 & 7) without any shoot-em up violence. There is one "world" where the little block figures shoot a gun to try and reveal the gems in the tower, but no 'people against people' or 'people against alien' violence, which seems so prevalent in electronic games these days.

A great non-violent Wii game.

Boom Blox is a great game for the whole family. It mainly is a puzzle game, but has multiple modes to choose from, even a create mode which you unlock items through the explore and adventure modes to use in. My friend and I played the co-op mode, which consists of both of you playing as a team completing incresingly difficult stages, which in turn unlock new areas to play in. The stages rang from using the "Wiimote" as a gun shooting blocks out of the air to throwing baseballs at blocks to score points. There are also fun versus modes and the explore and adventure modes are great as well. But the best way to play this game is with a friend or two. A tip, use quick flicks of the wrist instead of your whole arm movement for throwing puzzles. This will cut back on some of the pain for long gaming sessions.

If you like building blocks and knocking them down, this is for you! Great party game; anyone can pick up the remote and play instantly. Family friendly, overall, a great game!

Pure fun

I would not recommend this game if you are looking for a game that has a high level of interaction like other Wii games. The only motion that requires any movement is throwing. If you want a traditional video game where you sit down the whole time, this might be just for you.

Not fully interactive...

My boys was so excited to get this game so when it was finally released I went and bought it for them. They was so disappointed on how boring it was that it has been thrown aside sitting collecting dust. I as well found it to be boring and upset I just wasted fifty dollars. Needless to say we put Guitar Hero in and enjoy that much more.
