The stools look fantastic and really did meet my expectations! You just will need to allow for a little time to put them together. The hidden screws are tedious to screw in because they are on the underside of the chair and the angle makes for slow progress. I didn't mind this extra time, because this design was done so you couldn't see the hardware and just makes them more beautiful.

After a little work assembling the two stools we purchased we were delighted to see that they fit the available space almost perfectly and have been used almost from the moment they were pushed into place.  I will say that the instructions provided are MINIMAL at best, and I had to disassemble and then reassemble the cross brace so that all four sides of the seat could be installed.   The Allen Wrench tool provided for assembling the braces to the legs does work but it is a slow process because of the angle required and the limited turning room to tighten the screws.  Once assembled it is quite sturdy but it is not a 5 minute project.

Great Purchase

Bought these stools to use our kitchen as we were trying to match a Napolean tabke set we purchased in the past from Pottery Barn, but they no longer carry the matching counter stools.  Color of wood was very close and quality was good, finish was quite nice as well for the price.  Only reason I am giving it a four and not five stars is that I just wish the seat was made of rush material and not of woven seagrass, as it tends to have a slight greenish cast to the seat, and our seats are woven rush from Pottern Barn.  Also like the second rung on the stools, nice to put your feet on while sitting on them.

Nicely made and arrived perfectly.

Nice quality and not too difficult to put together.  Finishing the top portion which secures the seat is cumbersome.  It is held together with bolts which require an allen wrench (included with stool.  The problem is with the design which does not allow much room to work.  
All in all, the produce is very much worth the price I paid for it.

They look nice and for the price point, they're fine. The only negative, and unfortunately a big one, is that the "rushes" break off and stick you.....ouch! If they had put a thick clear cover over them, it would solve the problem.

Nice but scratchy

I ordered two and managed to get one together. What a nightmare! Getting the allen wrench in to attach the underseat brace was next to impossible. The rush seat was thin, very easy to push apart and see frame beneath. Felt flimsy. I took them back. You will, too, if you don't burn it first in frustration.
