Ease Of Use

Battery

Just got this today. I've only tinkered with it a little bit and so far it seems fantastic. Very nice and strong vibration feedback. The only thing I've noticed so far is that it doesn't look like it saves the inclination reading with the measurement memory, but that's probably in the settings. Overall, I'd say it's going to be a nice and durable addition to my kit. Very handy!

Bought this a few days ago. Have the previous models and use very often. This model has vibration and a green laser that is much more visible. The phone app this connects to is really handy once you learn it which is not bad at all. I love this tool. Every time someone sees me use it they are intrigued and become interested. Then they end up with one the next time I see them. Highly recommended.

I have used it a while, great tool. Software not easy to use

Very Handy

I have been using this for a few projects lately and it is very convenient in many (but not all) situations. In other words, you're not going to throw out your tape measurer, but it is accurate when it's practical to use. My main gripe with it is that it is not dimensionally stable like a level. I wish it had more flat surface area on all sides off of which to reference for measure. As is, it is not the most stable tool when butting it up against something to keep the laser steady (otherwise it won't take the measurement). In other words, it's not like a level that is squared off in all the right places to lay flat where it contacts a wall, for example, so you have to fiddle with it more than if it was perfectly rectangular. I also burned through the batteries it came with within 2-3 days of use. That said, I did research this product and it does seem to be the best deal going right now, so don't let my criticisms stop you from purchasing it. You may consider getting the kit with the rechargeable battery if you plan on using this a lot (or have a lot of AA's on hand). The rechargeable is supposed to last 60% longer, but you'll still want to charge it every night if you're using it a lot.

Probably the best out there but it could be better

La aplicación solo sirve para hacer planos cuadrados, si quieres hacer un plano de varias habitaciones, será un problema, tampoco tiene integración a autocad como el leica disto d2 que es del mismo costo, creo que no justifica el gasto extra del buetooth. También en superficies con sol no logro lecturas a mas de 25 metros.

Aplicación mala comparado con la competencia

Does not work, the green laser does NOT come on until the measure button is pressed so good luck imagining where the laser might point when you get it to show  I thought I was doing something wrong, but I just leqarned I'm not.  It doesn't work and judging from reviews Bosch is most certainly aware and still sells this worthless paperweight.  I bought mine more that 30 days ago, and was so frustrated when I tried to use it hours after I bought it, and I put it away.   Today I decided to give it another try and I find out it has not been working since I bought it.  It wasn't me.  It's you.

Piece of Junk

Received this for xmas. Didn't work once. Just like many reviews here,  laser never comes on, unit displays red alert and reboot. Horrific quality control with Bosch. Units not tested and shipped out bad. High failure rate.

Junk, never worked

So much for being "Jobsite Tough" as advertised.
Screen glass cracked after falling 3 feet off a workbench.
Not impressed with an expensive tool.

Not Jobsite Tough!

Bought this level couple of month ago
 2022 and bosch is up to date with technology? but how was I wrong . it drains batteries like nothing else couple of days of  light use and you need to buy new bats again. lever is not working properly you place it one side you have one measurement you flip it other side and you have a different measurement about  0.7 degree difference . measuring app is so rubbish and dump - i just wonder did bosch even used it. its very complicated and interface is so stupid you won't believe no wonder bosch is loosing to its competators who relly think through their products - bosch you faild my trust

Laser l mesure level -fail

The new laser measure cannot connect to their GLM transfer software for PC.
There is no way for me to directly have the Bluetooth transfer the number to PC.

Bought it to replace the GLM50C
