Lots of power for 12 amps. Has cut everything from nails to 4" tree branches without bogging down. Was a life-saver on a bathroom demo cutting 2 x 4's with nails and drywall screws in them. I love the tool-less blade change.

Great saw.

I bought this saw to help me prepare our family cottage for a renewal after 47 years in existence. It performed according to specifications and surpassed my expectations as an all out demolition tool. I was not nearly as tired as I was with my previous saw-all from another company when working on a previous project. The 1 inch stroke makes it easy to cut through all materials. Highly recommended!

Reciprocating Saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are renovating practically every room in our house. I bought this tool to help remove nails from places that I still don't understand how they got a nail in the first place. It sawed through the nails like butter. I know I can use this tool for many more applications, but all I've done so far is remove some walls and it was PERFECT for that.

Make demolition a breeze

This tool has tons of power. It's size and weight make it easy to handle, though it's not something I'd want to have to run for hours on end. I wish that there was an ability to turn off the random orbit, that action makes some of the more aggressive demo blades a little too aggressive (sometimes tearing instead of cutting) and is may not always be necessary or desirable when cutting steel or PVC. Also, after a few uses the tool appears to be leaking grease out of the shaft. I'm not sure if that's a normally accepted byproduct of use or if there's something legitimately wrong.

RS325 - Solid Tool, A Few Drawbacks

I've had my RS325 reciprocating saw for a couple of years. It works well but I have a lot of difficulty removing the battery when it is time to recharge. Any suggestions?

I bought one day ago and used it to cut wooden shelves. it cuts well. Unfortunately the saw had a significant grease leak in the front of the saw. Now I need to return it. It looks like Bosch had a significant quality problem with this saw
