Good size and quality, but definitely not "faux-suede". Fabric is more of a polyester twill and a much brighter red than shown.

Not as Pictured

This chair ended up being almost too small for my 10-y-o daughter who is not big for her age. When she tries to sit in it, she slides off the front.
