Item is as described and arrived promptly on time.  This silver pair of Bose speakers compliment the iMac.  They sound nice and I am pleased and satisfied. I spent the extra $150 because . . . this is what I wanted. You only live once . . . . . . . . .

These speakers are simply outstanding. Why BOSE has decided to discontinue them is a mystery to me. They are well made, the sound is mindblowing and I use them for my desktop as well as for my tv (my other pair).

Speakers sound great ! And every music and/or video player on my desktop has an equalizer so can fine tune the sound . A song downloaded from YouTube can not compare to a CD . Thank you to Walmart for prompt shipping also .

I agree with the review written by seatlemax(snap, crackle, pop).  I, to have been a big fan of Bose products for years.  I also have been an avid music listener for over 50 years and have run the mixer board for a couple of bands.  These speakers are horrible!!  I spent 8 hours the first day and another 2 hours the following day trying to get them to sound even halfway decent.  They sound worse than some FM radios i've owned.  My next review will be on Bose's web site.  Very disappointed.
