[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this lipstick on a day out which included food and drinks. First of all went on smooth, did not come off on my glass or cups when taking a drink. Lasted all day with one minor reapply after food due to the napkin. Only slight transfer when kissing someone on the check not the normal tell tale purple/plum lip mark. my lips don't feel overwhelmed with product, hardly noticeable, had to keep checking to make sure it was still on. It will now be my go to lipstick.

Absolutely stunning color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually opt for higher-end branded lip products because I need a product that lasts all day so I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but it massively exceeded expectations and was better than a lot of the lip products I pay 5x more for! The texture and way it applies is smooth and easy and it doesn't budge at all. I was out all day and it looked the same as when I put it on.  I would say this is possibly my favourite lip product ever in terms of the consistency and lasting power - I just need to find the 'perfect' colour for me now as the one I got was a bit too dark for an every day look.

Lovely long lasting colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Expensive looking lipstick.  Great angled shape at tip of lipstick which helps to get precise contact with lips.
This product has a thick  but not clumpy  luxurious feel. The matt effect is perfect if no shine is wanted. Glides on beautifully. Really nice packaging.

Bourjois Rouge Velvet The Lipstick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the lipstick easy to apply and like the design of the holder as well.
The lipstick felt soft and moisturising on my lips and stayed on most of the day.  I checked out if the lip colour would come off after drinks and food and found I still had lipstick on. Definitely would buy and recommend to friends and family. (If I could).

Best lipstick ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I look for a lipstick I tend to look for a product that stays on for long, looks nice and feels good.
The Rouge velvet lipstick scores high on 2 of the 3 points.

The colour is pigmented, but not overly pigmented so it still looks naturel. It smells nice too. Sometimes lipsticks can smell a bit too chemical for me, but that's not the case here.

The lipstick also feels nice on the lips. It doesn't feel heavy or sticky which is a big plus!

The only downside I found was that the lipstick didn't stay on well and looked a bit stripy at times. However that's quite common eith lipstick I think.

Overal I'm happy with it. It's naturel colour for everyday use (at least the one i have which is number 2)

Good but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about the packaging is that the shade of the lipstick is the colour of the cover, so when it is amongst a group of lipsticks you can easily identify the shade. 

The shade of the lipstick is definitely a very wearable colour for my skin tone. Can be used for daily wear or evening wear. 

The product is really easy to apply, the lipstick glides effortlessly over the lips. The coverage is buildable which is great depending on different uses. 

The only comment I have is that it is not long lasting and so re-applications are required throughout the day, including after eating and drinking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The formula is really nice and it lasted well, but unfortunately the colour I got sent, a dark sort of plum is not for me! I'd definitely repurchase, but in a different colour (red, pink or nude). It was easy to apply and lasted well.

Nice formula

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lipstick is both moisturising and long-lasting.  It did not dry my lips, unlike other long-wearing lipsticks I have tried. The only thing I did not like is the shape and size of the lipstick. It is a lot slimmer than other lipsticks, which makes it a little trickier to apply.
