Bowflex 5.1 Adjustable Bench Adjusts to 6 Positions with Stowable Feature can allow for you to get your workout in at home. This exercise product can be moved into six different angles. The different positions can allow for different workout variations. Bowflex Selecttech bench is built out of quality steel and has a load capacity of 480 lbs. The bench can be used to lift weights using your arms or legs. The cushioned seats allow for you to do your workout comfortably. The bench was easy to setup out of the box and is very comfortable for me as a bigger guy. It holds me comfortably and also is plenty big enough for me to feel sturdy while lifting. It also folds up and stows vertically to save space when not in use. Highly recommend this product # sweepstakes

Great Bench!

This bench is great for the price. It stores easily and is very stable. Many people complain about the gap between cushions, and depending on your body is justifiable. It's not hard for me to position myself so that the arch of my back is over the gap and avoid the uncomfortableness. For this reason, I'm not dinging the 5 stars.

great for its price point

This product is very sturdy and easy to store. My only knock is the seat portion of the bench feels a little short on exercises where the back of the bench is in a decline position. During those exercises the gap between the seat and incline/decline portion is larger. This is particularly true if you are doing things like sit ups or decline bench presses. The solution seems to be to bring my feet up onto the metal base this raising my knees or also tilt the seat to match the decline.

Solid bench all around, decline is just ok

I purchased the 5.1 to replace a flat bench. This was one of the best decisions I made concerning replacement of a piece of equipment, I mean this thing is built like a tank, adjustable, and very versatile. I can move it around effortlessly due to the wheels located on the rear of the bench, and with the incline position, I can even do setups. It's just an all around outstanding piece of equipment. I will point all of my friends toward this bench for all the reasons I've stated above.

LOVE THIS BENCH! First, it was pretty simple to assemble. Second, moving and storing it is even easier. Third, I love its 6 angles from decline to 90 degrees. I have a small home gym so space is limited being able to easily collapse and stand up this bench (either against a wall or free-standing) is the best feature. Its overall comfort and flexibility are a close second. If you're looking for those things you'll also love this product.

So I'm a large man and I have always been Leary about equipment bc growing up we had wal mart special and this bench has blown me away this is by far the best bench I've seen and I've been in a fe gyms the sturdiness reminds me of the high end Olympic sets the army and most colleges have how ever those are non adjustable this is just amazing

Pretty happy with this product for the price. I would buy again. The only downside is when you need to adjust the back position that you need to unscrew the adjustment pin. Its certainly durable, but is just a bit slow for adjusting during a heavy work out. Not a deal breaker by any means.

Good bench, but slow to adjust

The knob for adjusting the height of the back (flat, incline) is not easy to use. It's hard to tell when the holes are aligned and that is when you have to screw in the knob. Additionally the plastic that goes on the outside of the foam pieces for your ankles doesnt stay on. Lastly its not as easy to "roll away" as one might think. With that said it looks nice and appears to be very sturdy.

I have purchased and own several Bowflex Products that I am quite pleased with, as for this product I can't say enough horrible things about. From the base being too wide for foot placement, to the large gap between the seat and back rest, this is just a very poorly designed weight bench. I literally have been using it as a place to set things on top of because it is not useable as its intended functionality.

Good intent, poor judgement in design

If you are a serious lifter, I would not recommend this bench. The front legs do not allow for proper foot placement and form when bench pressing. The bench seat is too wide to step over when you have heavy dumbbells in your grips, or if your workout partner does not have long legs. One of the forward seat extension supports, where the bench bottom seat splits, broke the first day of use and now it sags more than the other side. I have other benches for equal or less money that far out perform this bench. I am extremely disappointed in the construction and quality of this bench. I love most all of the Bowflex products, however, this is one that I do not recommend anyone purchase.

I would not recommend this bench to serious lifters
