I'm pretty out of shape. But I have been a fit person and this machine is really going to help me get there. It's difficult but I have lots of room to keep working up. Love the interval training.

I bought this machine after weeks of online research. I'm 47 years old and out of shape, standing six feet tall & 277 pounds to be exact. I couldn't do cardio the conventional way because of my knees, they couldn't handle the pounding obviously due too my large mass and made exercising impossible so I thought. I purchased the M3 on a Monday and the following Monday it was delivered to my door. It took me about an hour to put together, would've been sooner but the handles took the longest. It has been exactly one week for me and the M3 and I can't do the 14 minute interval training yet, but I have lost 14.1 pounds. Of course I have completely revamped my diet. I do 2 workouts a day AM & PM. Right now I am on resistance level 1 and I set my burn rate between 10-15. I train for about 90 seconds or longer if I can at that pace and then I go to MAX speed for as long as I can which is about 10-14 seconds. I last for about 14 minutes overall with a few breaks in-between and I'm already down 14 pounds! This Bow Flex Max Trainer M3 is the real deal.

Best Buy I've Ever Made!

I am 62. I love going to the gym and being in better shape than the young dudes, so with the quarantine I was lost and stared to get tubby ( again ).. This is the best full body workout available. its take a good few tries before your body gets used to it then off you go. Lots of people try it and find it hard. they should have more stick-to-it-ness as they would be surprise how fast they improve. I bought it at Canadian tire and wish I had bought it here to get the free mat.

I am very happy with the M3

Purchased the basic M3 with a weight loss goal in mind and within weeks could see the difference. Lost 30 pounds in 6 months. Continue to use to maintain the new weight. Very challenging yet low impact so the joints are not taking a beating. You can burn a ton of calories in a short period of time. Average calorie burn is between 300-340 every 14 minute workout.

Awesome Machine

Just bought this today only took me about a hour to set up. Everything works the way it should. First workout in a long while 14 min. workout burned 172 cal. I have bad knee's and back this machine did not bother either one. So far I am very impressed with it will post an update in a few weeks on how it's going g.

wow what a workout

This is definitely more challenging than an elliptical as the lower body motion is more like a stairclimber. I've worked my way up to the full 14 minutes, which feels so good. My quads and glures are much stronger than when I first started. Having said that I am reluctant to keep using it as I find those muscles are bulking up. Any suggestions on how to focus on getting those muscles lean instead of bulking up would be helpful.
