This is my second brace I've ordered. I started having pain in my thumb from holding my cell phone. It's quite heavy. I even had pain so bad I got a shot in my hand for it. I ordered this to brace both my thumb and wrist and it's a huge help. I wear it while using my phone and has stopped the pain. Definitely recommend!

If you are suffering thumb arthritis , this is the best brace. I've purchased a few different ones and this is the best. I'm 68 and had to have wrist/thumb surgery in one hand but used this while waiting to decide about whether or not to have the repair on my dominant hand. I have three of these.

Best brace!!!

I have a small hand but chubby forearm and wrist braces almost always fail me. My wrist isn't supported because the brace rests on my thicker forearm. This brace is very adjustable, lightweight, doesn't slip once in place and has really kept me from moving my thumb. Five stars for this brace.

Fits well very adjustable

its hard to find a thumb supporting brace with carpal tunnel. this short brace makes it feel like i can still "use" my hand. 
the thumb portion is nice because its adjustment spot doesn't cause you to put strain on your wrist. its gives relief and comfort for daily wear.
i work for usps and my hand is feeling the effects, this is helping to sleep in ans also using during morning distribution to give extra support.

found solution after long search

Love this.  Been using it about a week for what seems to be tendonitis in my thumb and maybe some carpal tunnel.  Already improving.  Excellent quality brace  especially for the low cost of 10 bucks.  Very easy to put on and customize the fit.  Glad I bought it and would def buy again.

Great Low Cost Brace

Feels like I'm getting arthritis in my lower thumb joint (and it came on pretty quickly). Hoped this would help allievate the pain, BUT SADLY it did not relieve MY bottom joint thumb pain...  your mileage may vary -

BraceUP  Thumb Splint for arthritic pain

Using this brace for arthritis in thumb.  It's easy to put on and adjust.   It does keep me from over using my thumb which is what I needed.   Well made.

Great brace

The fit impeded my mobility by fitting too high on my hand.  I returned it and ordered a thumb splint instead.

I would recommend this item for someone who only needs to use it occasionally, but if you need to wear it continuously I would not recommend it.  After a short period of time the brace starts to come apart or the velcro starts to not stick as well.  I haver to use it continuously because I have no cartilage in my thumb and, while it initially works well, after a couple weeks of continuous use the fabric starts to stretch which compromises the support.

Good for some people, but not for others

Cheaply made. I had a similar brace and the direction that the velcro thumb adjuster is oriented  backward from what it should be.  These will eventually "catch and pull open" as it wears.  If it connected in the opposite direction it would be much better.
