For the value and price point for a grocery store samosa, I am very happy with these. For those who don't live near a legit Indian sweets store, this will satisfy the craving. Reheat in the oven or air frier for peak crispiness, and buy or make your own chutney to serve with.

Pretty Good

Best premade samosas that are not from our local Indian restaurant … definitely would buy them again easy to reheat - cook 20 min 350. Delicious. Would be awesome if they offered a tamarind sauce with it but that's all that's missing and I like to dip mine in my channa masala and butter chicken sauce anyway! 
We ate half and I froze the rest for another time - my pretty picky kids love as snacks too!

Quality samosas - delicious buy them!

Brar s Samosas are too good to eat, in ready to eat food. I keep these freezer, whenever I want to eat, microwave it for 59 seconds, then put it in oven for 20 minutes at temp, which I don't remember. I hope the info about temp settings appear on screen aappe...

These were Delicious and not extremely Hot but had some kick to them, as they should . Hard to find good Samosas these days in a decent size , will be great for the new years eve party , froze one package for then .

Great Samosas

They're very good I freeze them and then I can cook each one individually in the air fryer from frozen. Even if they're a little soggy, I freeze them and they come out just delicious

Best way to heat them up

Not very good. The outside is ok.
The inside was soggy. 
The filling had the consistency of almost mashed potatoes. 
Had almost zero peas.
Spices are not good. No balance. 
The flavor I would describe as just spicy.  
Will not be buying these ever again unfortunately what a waste.

This is a good product. but when it was DELIVERED  it was soft and not firm.
i placed it in the freezer. hoping it firms.  As it contains peas and potato, and do not have meat,
I am hoping it will be ok. I have taken it out of the plastic container and froze them in freezer bags. I am not going to take them out now and take pictures.  Just believe what I am telling you.

Soft Samosas

I used to love these, buy them on the weekly.  I came from Brampton Ontario and know Brar products very well. 

I ordered these as I usually do and noted a difference in appearance. Then upon baking it took longer to try and get crispy. Then upon eatting the dough part is heavy and not the usual flavour and texture.  The inside filling of potato and green peas: no flavour at all. The most I can taste is the cumin seed.

Quality and flavour went way down hill. I am trying to purchase from a couple other store locations in town (set. John's area) because I have to travel 2 hours to get to town to have the privilege to get to shop for international food supplies as Newfoundland and Labrador has limited supply and horrid distribution to the few locations outside of the larger towns. 

These samosas were my go to snack and comfort food as someone with neurodivergence and missing access and community and my culture due to lack of population and lack of access to ingredients. These samosas were one stop quick fix to address that longing and dignity. 

I am not sure if the past couple batches I bought were spoiled from improper storage or transport by the store or if the  manufacturing and recipie changed.

 Never in my life and decades of samosa consumption from Brampton Ontario was a Samosa heavy and hard like a brick.

If I buy from the other store locations and it's the same thing than it's manufacturing issue. If it's not the same from another location then maybe it's a store issue. 

Either way it was the most horrid experience. The only bonus was that the potato wasn't spoiled inside to be slimey, smell funny or taste funny. 

It was just no taste but cumin and then a little kick after.

it's not the same and the texture of the flour dough itself to me indicates change in recipe for cheapness meanwhile upping the price.

Changed Recipe

I recently tried the Brar's Samosas, filled with potatoes and peas, and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The edges of the samosa were overly hard, making each bite a bit of a struggle. It lacked that crispy, delicate texture you typically expect, and instead felt more like biting into a crunchy, tough shell.

As for the filling, the taste was rather bland. While there was a decent amount of heat, it didn't have the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The spiciness definitely hit, but without any of the savory or seasoned richness that usually makes samosas a comforting snack. The potatoes and peas inside felt under-seasoned and somewhat unexciting.

Overall, the samosas didn't deliver on flavor or texture. They might satisfy someone looking for a spicy bite, but if you're after a well-balanced and flavorful experience, these might not be the best choice.

"Disappointing Crunch: Brar's Samosas Lacked Flavo

Dough (?) filling mixed in with the potato and peas. 
I bought these multiple times, and this time found a mysterious (dough?) filling that I think was mixed in to give us less potato and pea. Shame. Won't be buying again.
