Makes great coffee, looks good on the kitchen counter!

Great coffee maker

Good coffee maker but needed because same model started leaking water after about 6 years.  Okay but not great.  Better luck this time.

Good for a while

The design and size is perfect.  All other makers were higher priced.  This brand always offers great quality.  The coffee brews quickly and at the perfect temperature.

Best coffee ever. Robust coffee nice and hot. You can program the length of time the warmer stays on up to 2 hours (good grief).  Lots of features. I was initially leery of the white color but it looks great with the stainless steel.  The coffee pot handle and cover are gray not white so no worry of coffee stain. Easy to pour water into machine.  Has water filtration and takes same charcoal filter as my Cuisinart did.

Love this coffee maker.

Makes good coffee and keeps it very hot.  Easy spout and opening to pour the cold water into the machine, and easily pours out the coffee.  Green light goes on to remind you to clean it.  The included re-usable cone filter works very well. Attractive silver and black unobtrusive design.  Looked all over to get this replacement for my old one that lasted  many years.

The kf7070 is a near mirror of the previous model Braun coffee maker I had that died after 6 years use, so setup took no time at all, and I was ready to brew my first pot of coffee. The 7070 worked as well as I expected it to. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Great Replacement

Not only does this coffee maker look great on my counter, but it brews deliciously hot coffee swiftly. The stainless steel colour is modern and matches the other appliances. The height of the unit makes it easier to fit under the top cupboard, but I have to move it forward to fill (always the case with any coffee maker). When filling the unit I recommend you note how much water you pour in from your carafe in the first place because it's hard to interpret the water level from looking at the indicators inside. When the coffee is ready it does not beep like my old coffee maker. No worries though, the sound of its last “push” is fairly obvious. Great news- the carafe does not drip when pouring. The coffee stays hot for 2 hours, and that time can be adjusted. However, what can't be adjusted though is the temperature of the warming plate; I think the coffee gets too hot and therefore gets bitter when it sits. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I'm glad I was able to find it on sale as it priced too high otherwise.

Looks good and works great

The price to pay for the features was overpriced. Had a previous optibrew which was a better price with more functions but had a recall. This replacement is more expensive with less options.
With price out of the equation, decent coffee maker. No complaints with basic features.

Features versus price.

Braun was known for making quality. That was a long time ago. I have bought 4 different coffee makers in the past 6 months - each replacing the last. Braun, Cuisinart, etc. They are all crap. I don't know who to recommend at this point. Machines get a decent review, I buy one and it's junk. Inconsistent coffee. Sometimes watery, sometimes too strong with grounds floating in it. It has mostly one job: brew coffee - and it can't really do that.

Poor quality - disappointing
