Just purchased my second one because I broke the glass carafe against my sink. It was 3. Years old, but the old coffee pot worked fine. The replacement carafe was half the price of a whole new unit, so I bought a new one.
Works well, and long lasting mechanism in the unit itself. Love the pre-set feature for coffee brewing automatically in the morning.

Agree with many reviews the coffee tastes awesome.  Would probably have rated 5 except for carafe.  The top comes off easily and when pouring tends to spill.  Does not brew overly fast and quite noisy when brewing.
