Simple operation with comfortable handling.

Made with a sturdy yet portable construction.

Bought on the recommendation of ATK which has had this ranked this as their #1 choice in hand blenders for many years. I like just having two speeds, didn't want the unnecessary complication of a variable speed control. Blender has good weight without being too heavy, sit well in the hand and is extremely powerful. Also easy to clean.

Excellent Power and Ergonomics

Braun

The best purchase

Looked around and decided to go with a trusted name rather than cheaper options, and am happy with my choice.
The unit seems sturdy and it's impressive how little mess the blending makes.
Have only used it a few times to blend soups and smoothies but I'm optimistic it will stand the test of time. A pity I couldn't get it in red.

Good quality - no spatter!

Good product. 3rd one I have ordered and gave them as gifts to my adult children. Good quality - love the variable speed.

Good quality for the price

Very happy with this purchase. The best Immersion blender I have ever used. Lots of power and very quiet. Mostly using it to puree my 14 year old cat's food. Just perfect for this task.

Exceeded Expectations!

This Braun hand blender replaced my broken Kitchenaid one I have had for about 20 years. It took a bit of getting used to having only 2 speeds but they are different enough that it meets my needs. Did not have the whisk with previous blender so was anxious to try this one. Works really well and quickly whipped cream. I use regular attachment mostly for salad dressings and crushing a can of tomatoes. This works very well for both. I don't do smoothies. REASON for 4 stars is the container that comes with the blender. It is narrower than the Kitchenaid container and does not have a lid which my Kitchenaid did. I am sure this container is shaped to maximize the work of the blender and per the videos I watched, most were using it for smoothies. BOTTOM LINE - a workhorse blender with higher horsepower and 2 useful speeds. Nothing wrong with the blender but I went back to using my Kitchenaid container with a lid.

Workhorse Blender but Container Disappointing

Braun remains a great brand, quality does not go unchallenged! I like the design, the stability in the use and that it can not slip from our hands. I could have given 5 stars but I have a little fear: the risk of breaking the “clip” system of the two rooms, while there is no worry with a system where we screw them rather...

Beautiful design and sufficient engine strength

The product arrived quickly and was well packaged. It performs as described. I have not used an immersion blender before, so I am still experimenting with its capabilities but it makes good peach margaritas and milk shakes. I've wanted one for a while and this came highly recommended by America's Test Kitchen, whom I trust.

So far so good

I am little disappointed as it doesn't seem as powerful as my ten year old one which recently died. I don't know what they have changed but it certainly is not the same quality.

Braun newer model

It broke in the first use- don't waste you time buying this product. I had amazing experiences with my previous Braun products but was very disappointed with this one.

Very disappointed

Braun MQ505 Multi-Quick 5 immersion hand blender with black soft-grip ergonomic handle, stainless steel Power Bell blending shaft, whisk attachment, and clear measuring beaker for blending, pureeing, and whisking in small appliances.
