Perfect coffee maker for my day to day. The ability to make a full pot or just a cup full is really handy in a pinch!

We needed a new coffee maker and the features of this one stood out.  In the summer we can make iced coffee, during the week my husband and I can both has a fresh cup of coffee using the individual size choices and on the weekend we can make a full or half pot.  I am enjoying my fresh and hot coffee that hasn't been sitting for an hour before I get to it.

I didn't like how the coffee tasted. The timer was weird. It was easy set-up. Didn't work how i wanted it.

About one and half years ago we were looking for a new coffee maker. We wanted a machine that did not use pods, but could make 1 cup and also a pot. We were also looking for something that made hot coffee. This model had everything and certified to make hot coffee. I read the notes of an independent tester, who confirmed the temperature reached 195 F. It is recommended to set to the "gold" button and make a full pot. I also tested the temp and it barely made it to 174 F on full pot. We want hot coffee (I like mine black) and we drink our coffee over a short period. But within 5 minutes we're microwaving it. We like the features, its compact and has multiple choices of coffee size and a water reservoir. This is our second one as the first one stopped working within a few months. They took care of that right away and sent a new one. We have had the second one for about a year and no working issues so far. Both had the same temperature issue. One other thing is the cleaning button is in the wrong spot. We have accidentally hit it a few times and you can't cancel it. No making coffee for 45 minutes. We like the machine itself, we would like hotter coffee like its certified to do.

This coffee maker had all the features we wanted.

It's overpriced, overrated and over sized, considering the cup capacity the design size could have been smaller for an appealing look on the counter top. The measurements marked on the reservoir is not equal to the carafe. The carafe to doesn't open fully, this makes the drying time longer.

Disappointing 😒

The drip-stop doesn't always work and if i move the coffee maker i can see some leaking of liquid underneath. The coffee maker doesnt keep the coffee hot for more than half an hour, it automatically shuts down. It doesnt even heat up to high temp. Smaller pot for bigger space taken on the counter. 

Only good thing, is the gold-option. The other options are mediocre.

Would NOT recommend for the price

It wasn't the right pot for me ibises it one time and returned it. Braun received it back on December 20 and I'm still fighting for my refund!

REFUND

Beware of faulty LED display and inoperable setting buttons! 
About 4 months after using this coffee maker the LED dispaly lights stopped working- the numbers were not able to be read anymore. 
Then the program buttons stopped responding when pressing. 
So the programmable functioning is inoperable. 
No setting up of automatic brewing times.

This item was a gift for our wedding. We haven't reached our 1 year anniversary, and it is already completely useless. We have tried every solution found on the internet, which there are many, and none of them worked. What was supposed to be a staple of our kitchen and something we enjoyed using every day has become the bane of my existence.
